Is a Yonex Voltric 1TR a good choice for a novice player?

I recently started playing badminton and wanted to get a decent racket. I think my play style is fairly middle-ground between aggressive tactics and controlled tactics so I thought a medium flex, balanced racket would be good (as the Voltric series is advertised).

About myself: I like light rackets, I'm 6'1", 210 lbs, average strength

Go for it I myself used it. It is a good racquet for beginners . One correction it is a head heavy racquet & not a balanced racquet as you are expecting. But it is not much of a head heavy racquet. It is quite good.

I may be wrong, but my understanding is that Yonex TR1 is a 'training' racket - that is, an especially heavy racket designed to build wrist strength for already experienced players rather than for gameplay benefit. As such, it would be totally wrong for a beginner. VT5 or lighter would be more advisable.

Here. You may see that it is almost inclining in the even balanced region. You may have been mistaken by me but brother I only gave my advice because I myself have used the racquet. It was my first racquet purchase.
