Mohd Tazari/Lin have beaten CCM/KKK last year. They are in fact Malaysia's National Champion. However, they are still relatively inconsistent...losing to Hendra Gunawan/Joko Riyadi and Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan in the past month. However, they are one of the few pairs for the future...and Rexy has in fact given his approval to this pair to compete in the World Championships.

Malaysia's MD is in for a very good decade. They have Mohd Tazari/Lin, Gan/Abdul Latif, Hoon/Tan, and Tan/Ong (finally see them in action again after a long absence).

It could be a ploy by Rexy to boost their ranking...with the WC seeding in mind. He wants all his 3 pairs to be in the top 8. Looking at current rankings, they might make it. Mohd Tazari/Lin have yet to win an open title...so..the maiden win might just boost their confidence.

Looking at the ranking, it's likely that CCM/KKK and Choong/Lee will be the top 4, while Mohd Tazari/Lin be no 6 or 7th seed.

They won the first set and I hope they will become the champion and to strengthen their confidence in international circuits.

there's no lindan's fan to stand behind him, making a reason why LD did that :)

wl2172, its a big mistake to ask me about those Ronald-LD scenarios. I simply don't bother about such things enough to react so aggressively to. So don't tell me what song I would be singing.

Lin Dan can get childish sometimes, but who doesn't? Don't you think its also very childish to look at one badminton player's bad reaction and put it in line to insult of culture and a country, facts of human decency, bans, fines, etc? These kind of over-the-top reactions already contributed to a lot of confrontation between races/religions/etc these days especially those groups of people that are very prone to such reactions. If you don't like LD's attitude, just don't support him or watch his games. I am very sure he will be devastated to know that you will not support him in future. :p

I'm both of their's fan actually and I was supporting LCW today because I think he deserve another title this time round. I was scolding him over the Tv earlier for slacking after winning the first set and on the brink of losing the rubber set. Luckily he "heard" me scolding him and started chasing. :D :D :D

I thought the world cup seeding was already fixed based on the earlier ranking list?

It seems that Fu/Cai have a phobia when playing against Malaysian pairs. Yet, when the Malaysian pairs are playing against Indonesian pairs, they tend to lose.

It's great that you are not so judgemental but some criticsm especially with bad behaviors and attitudes is okay because that's how we learn and improve not just with badminton but also with our conducts in front of others. If we allow ourselves to be surrounded by these types of bad behaviors, the younger generation will use that as a model and they'll grow up becoming just as bad or even worse since "great" role-models like Lin Dan are doing that.
