She has improved after injury. Her smashes look more powerful. Was impressive against Wang Yihan. Not as much against the freak today.

LXR looks improved.. She was so calm and composed even when she lost g2 to SJH after leading throughout.. It'll be an uphill task

    Sad to see Sindhu losing.
But congratulations for her first SSP finals.
Sindhu has improved a lot and she has great potential.

And LXR is back to her best. She has improved also.
Hopefully, Sindhu will beat her next time.

She played well today. Proud of her. Never thought she would reach an SS final this year, that too in Denmark.

i was kind of watching all the good matches she has played over the years and i came to a conclusion. .pv's judgement is bizarre, worst than mine. .she loses half a dozen of points due to her misjudgements, or may be more.

Sindhu has a game that troubles a lot of people as she is quite unique is some aspects.

What do you think happens if she plays too often? Is she adaptable enough when opponents have worked out a strategy?

For instance, she had a good run, fell off the radar and then got injured. Now that she hasn't been playing much and back in action, she will get good results for a few tournaments of semis and as her opponents adapt, the results will go down to q/final finishes or last 16.

for that matter, every player has to keep evolving his/her game and sindhu can't be any different. .she is still young and has a lot of time by her side so she will overcome all these weaknesses as time goes by.

PVS is an excellent player and has got tremendous potential to become world nos 1. She has got the temperament & technique to challenge the best in the world. The way she beat CM in the Denmark Open was amazing and to beat CM is a great achievement. She has beaten many of the top ranked chinese players convincingly and hopes she does that with lot more consistency. PVS is a humble and a matured player unlike CM. All the best for the China Open...

Congs on Macao 3 peat. However after the 2012 CMSS, I had expected her to win atleast 3 SS titles before Rio. As things stand, she has just as many as PK.

Yeah, congratulations for hat-trick in Macao. She loves Macao.

I read somewhere that she will be back in top 10.

Unfortunately, what I really wanted was for her to be in Dubai SSF. May be next year.

Congrats PVS for winning Hatricks of titles in Macau Open. Its a very rare achievement by any means and Kudos to PVS for making it happen. When at the peak of her fitness PVS is a very formidable force to reckon with. Her smashes were spot on and was very difficult for the opponent to return. Both Yamaguchi & Mitani struggled to match PVS game. Both the games should have been won in straight sets because Sindhu was leading for most part of the second set and due to few unforced errors from PVS the match had to be stretched to three games. Otherwise it was looking like a one sided contest with PVS going all guns blazing. This young girls (20 Years) would be a formidable force in the WS badminton and would eventually go on to become world nos 1. She needs to maintain her fitness which would help her climb the rankings scale. All the best PVS.. you are the pride of India and you have made all Indians proud.
