The more weight concentrated on the head and the stiffer the racket the harder it is to swing it. The 88D is noticeably much more head heavy and stiffer than the Arc 11 so thats why. Although dry swinging and actually hitting the shuttle is entirely different.
What about voltric z force2? Does it feel even more heavier than astrox 88d?(Both 4u) Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
Any "Z" designated racket from Yonex is super stiff, always keep that in mind and also the ZF2 is one of if not the head heaviest racket Yonex has ever made, along with the "old" Astrox 99. You dont need much thinking to say which is harder to use.
i buy Ax88D because i heard that Ax88D 3u had a heaviness and had NAMD rotation so we can expect great weight in the head. After 2 session of playing, i feel upset because my n9ii is still my racket to go.
I i feel like lacking of punch for me. If i already tiring when playing with n9ii, i will use ax88d i think. Some people exaggerating the heaviness
I agree with llrr. The 88D has a much more siffer shaft compared to the N9II and that makes generating power much more difficult. But if you have good enough technique to flex the 88D's shaft i have no doubt in my mind that smashes from 88D will be faster.
It's similar, but keep in mind that zf2 has a thinner shaft and is head heavier, which makes flexing the shaft easier than usual. In comparison, 88D has a normal sized shaft diameter, and the head is not as heavy, so when playing it feels quite stiff.
So u are saying voltric z force 2 has easier power generation than astrox88d??? Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
Depends on what version, if its 4U then both are very stiff since there is less weight on the head so the shaft doesnt bend as much. If its 3U then it is easier to flex since more weight is concentrated at the head. Since you're getting a 4U the 88D would "probably" be stiffest but it should be marginal.
Well there is something known as Extra Stiff in the extra slim shaft of the ZFII, so as much as I know, flexing it would need a bit more technique and power Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
No, I was just responding to your question regarding stiffness. It is still harder to generate power using zf2 due to the extreme specs it has.
Hi guys,do u know which international players use astrox 88s/88d? The few names i know are: kevin sanjaya and marcus gideon Fukushima and hirota The adcocks, chris and gabby Any other names? Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
