I think Lee Hyun Il might be able to take the title but both Son Wan Ho and Tanongsak should they meet, will be a test of the veteran's fitness. Brice's amazing win over the living legend is most heartening for French badminton but today's match with Tanongsak might be one too many for him. We'll see.
I am french and totally agreed. BL is not capable of making good performance over good performance... And with his victory over the week, I even doubt he could pass through first turn in the french open next week.
The way Tanongsak played just now, if LCW were to meet him playing like he did yesterday, I've no doubt Tanongsak's raw speed and power (of course, not saying he doesn't have the requisite skills) would stop LCW in his tracks.
Cheung Ngan Yi is a superb runner and retriever, she's all over the court getting a lot back, a trait typically associated with the JPN WS. All square, now for the decider.
Unfortunately, Cheung at 17-all made a couple of unforced errors to hand over the match to Tai TY 21-18.
