Within the arena's compound, other than the customary Yonex and Proton booths (with 3 cars, no less), there is also a Samsung booth showcasing their LCD TV and latest phone models. There are also a few handicraft booths, but you can buy this stuff a lot cheaper at Api-api shops and at the Philippine market.
Most of the players took a ride back to hotel after their match ended. Wong Pei Tty and Lim Khim Wah returned not too long ago, to prepare for their 2nd match.
Player's lounge/VIP lounge is nice...with lunch buffet served..as well as some snacks....could not go wrong!
Kunchala must be the unluckiest player when it comes to scheduling, she had to play 3 matches in the 1st session ......
liliyana also has to play 3 times for this session hope for her last match today, make a good result!!
Any side news about LYD? Actually I envy Malaysian Girls who can meet LYD regularly (it seems that LYD like to compete in Malaysia, at least once a year, right? ) how lucky they are... :crying:
don't know if this counts as side news or not, but i saw Tony Gunawan at a nearby shopping mall, Centre Point, and he seemed in a hurry... Then went to the Palm Cafe in the same complex, and saw Kido and Setiawan eating alone, at lunchtime... wow... haha... and saw Saina Nehwal having her lunch as well... Pity i didn't get a picture or an autograph from them...
