Are you serious, Suetyan? RMB 10 million=1.5 million USD. According to the news report, the amount of the prize is 100 thousand RMB=15 thousand USD.

The other winners are the Shanghai Volleyball Team, which won the national title for the sixth consecutive time, and which was awarded 20k RMB.

I guess suetyan mistakenly treats 十万 (100,000) as 10 millions. It clearly shows that u r a pure Chinese.

A short (few seconds) interview with Wang Yihan's mother after the assembly.

Below is the link of the interview. It was in mandarin, anyone understands mandarin can take a look. Anyone who doesn't understand mandarin, I would translate it at here.

    Link: http://v.ku6.com/show/ZxaQnbUEJF4yi60D.html

Her mother said: everytime she trained so hard and she got blister also never told me. The blister caused her can't walk properly also never told me. I know the training in national team is very hard but at last she also insisted till the end.

A bit off topic-How to select??..

..i think they should base the selection on the upcoming Sudirman Cup matches..Have all of them play a match and gauge from there...
LYB must be saying to himself "which ones should i choose?". On one hand, he's overjoyed at the number of options. On the other, he must be going "eenie meenie miney mo"...

No one talked about Wang Yihan, arguably the world's best women singles player, for nearly a month!!?? Where are you, Seutyan? Any way, Congratulations to Yihan for her win in her first team match for China. Hope she will play in the semi-final and final, and win the Sudirman Cup.
