I used to be pretty good (strong B player, did some provincials in school) but I am not out of shape and I didn't play much the past 4 years. Im looking to get back into it and I was wondering if I could potentially join you. I am 24, have a car and rackets. I live in mtl and I am availaible on weekdays from 1 to 6 and sometimes later too except fridays. looking forward hearing from you,
Hi, does anyone know whether or not College Ahuntsic is open for badminton play? I went earlier this summer and found it closed. Has it re-opened? I'd like to start playing Badminton once again! Thanks ThaRock
Hi, David, are you talking about the club in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield? It is about 45 min. from Montreal to get to that town. There is not quite a lot of people in the club. You may give it a try. If you are interested, PM me and I may give more information later. Edit: I don't think you are going to like that place because there isn't any adult...
looking for players and place hi! im new in montreal and im looking to meet friends with the same interest like badminton.
Hi guys, RSL and Ahuntsic are organizing a high performance Japan summer camp on August 10-14th for players and coaches. We will invite 3 Japan coaches, who are Japan national level institutors. Also we may have some Japan junior players attending this camp too. Please check out the flyer.

Hi, I'm a student from Malaysia. I'll be visiting Montreal this coming summer from 11th June - 29 August. Would like to play badminton with you guys. I like playing singles. I'll be doing work placement at McGill University, and will live somewhere near LaSalle metro. Any suggestion wherever cheap to play? and hopefully learn from other good players? Please help. This will be my first time in Montreal. Thanks very much in advance!
hi! i don't really know where you can play singles due to the fact that most clubs play doubles because there are a lot of people. RSM (in lasalle, saturday) is mainly doubles not a lot of singles, only at the end of the day when people start to leave and the level of single play is quite low. Ahuntsic (monday and thursday night) have a lot of good provincial players but again... mainly doubles. I would suggest Ahuntsic due to the play level being higher and a lot of times there will be free courts for singles during the night
cool thanks for your reply DSAS6. I suppose there're not many opportunities to play singles unless I book a court and ask someone to come along? which will be expensive :S in that case, doubles are better than none Do you know the website for Ahuntsic? where do you play badminton?
There is also William Hingston that is really cheap it's $30 for 15 visits and the first time is free. You're welcome to join us it's every sunday from 2-6pm. I've gone 4 or 5 times so far and I haven't paid yet.... they said untill admin makes the cards it's free and I didn't argue Let me know if you're interested to play this sunday and I'll let you have the details.. bolts
thanks Bolts. Yes, I'm interested! at the moment i'm still in England, will be in Montreal from 10th June. Please pass me the details, eg. how to get there etc. How many courts there? how about players' standard? Thank you very much.
