Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir confirm their place in the SF after an easy 21-17, 21-8 victory over Robert Mateusiak/Nadiezda Kostiuczyk. They will await the winner of the match between Xie Zhongbo/Zhang Yawen and Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl. Unfortunately, both pairs have good records against Nova/Butet recently

Sony Dwi Kuncoro could not repeat his victory over Park Sung Hwan during the Sudirman Cup as he lost in straight-sets 19-21, 15-21. Sony should have taken the first set
