I would like to know the different benefits of the different yonex series such as MusclePower, Isometric, Nanospeed, Arcsaber and Armortec. I will be buying a new raquet and I want to know what is the most suitable raquet for my friend in order to enhance her skills and abilities. Im look for a raquet under $100, please leave any recommendations Thanks.
there are many different breakdowns of the yonex lines, it best to look at a chart, or look at the individual rackets instead. armortec: head heavy Nanospeed:'head light' MP: even balance Isometric: large head ARcsaber: even- head heavy.
Even within each seriers, each model might be very different than another. Say MP66 and MP100 will never be anywhere near close. There's no generic answers. Why not tell us what's your friend's preferene, and what's the available choices you have, and what currency you using (100 yen and 100 euro are a big difference).
Oh ok, well we're in canada so we use Canadian dollars. My friend is pretty weak so i am looking towards a balanced to head lighted raquet. So is there any specific raquets that can be recommended. I use a MP 10 LT and she says its pretty good. So somewhere along those lines. Thank you
if you can find an mp 24 get it the nanospeed 800 or 500 are just fine as well but i find that muscle power are more noob friendly.
Why buy a "cheap" racket made in Taiwan and pay a premium compared to similar performing rackets with less "costly" logotype ??? I fail to se the logics behind that.. /T
for not very strong lady use, I recommend yonex MP88(hard to find now), nanospeed 9000s(3U, over budget ,around 200usd), or mp66,mp limited(little hard for "weak" girl, but just need more practices and then amazing for lady use), Arcsaber 9 is pretty for lady, but not easily to use by beginners, also you can try the new one, yonex AT600,around 130usd. If concern about the budget, try the medium level, such as yonex nanospeed 500,nonospeed 800,but these racquet haven't many reviews and not familier with their characteristics
A racket that is flexible and not too stiff would be fine for her. Yes, the muscle power series is very user friendly.
oh ok thanks. I will take your suggestions to work my way to a good raquet that'll suite my friend the best. any further suggestions will also be appreciated. thanks you
CND$100 can not go very far in top Yonex range, unless you purchase 2nd handed. Better chance to have a deal within non-yonex brands. Reputable ones inlcuding Winnex, Fleet, Apacs, Kason (Lining), Victor, BK, Yangyang, etc. And, ebay is NOT a good place for "cheaper" Yonex shopping, as most of them are fakes.
Until you reach a certain level of playing skill, the different of each Yonex racket is almost invisible. Usually, someone is bias due to colors, name printed on the shaft and price points. Just get something you can effort and enjoy it. No matter which racket you use, you will have to adjust your stokes to the rackets, instead of getting some kind of recommendation from others and expect the racket to create miracle and adjusts to your playing skills.
IMO, it isn't a big deal, just listed the price range of racquets and let the poster know about it. He can purchase in Canada, US or Worldwide, yes the price have differences, but if a racquet is good enough for you and suits you, do you care about any small price difference like 10 us dollars? I don't think so.
Victor Artery Ti (Can't spell that name) series is a very nice line. If you pay over CAD 100 just to get a Yonex, why not spend that money else where. I find Fleet's and Gosen's quality very nice. Yonex is not everything....
I agree a lot, if you know other brands more, you'll find in usd 80-160 range, they have more better products.
