GG Ladies' Night moved to Wednesday Nights!

    Dear GG Members and Friends!

Great news for our GG gentleman players!!

We know we have been doing "Ladies Night" for a while, where our lady baddies only pay $6 when they come to play on Thursdays from 4:30PM and onwards. Now we are happy to extend this privilege to our GG gentleman players too!! Starting from today, we will have "GG Men's Night" on "Mondays!": guys who come to GGBC 1, Menlo Park, OR, GGBC 2 Oakland, Emeryville on Mondays to play only need to pay a $6 drop-in fee after 4:30PM!

We also would like to remind our lady players that our "Ladies Night" will be moved to Wednesday nights; all ladies who come to GGBC to play after 4:30PM on Wednesday nights will only need to pay a $6 drop in fee!!

Cheers to badminton fun on GG Ladies and Men's Nights! See you all on GG courts!

    Best Regards!

GGBC Now Offers Yoga and QiGong Lessons

We are very excited to announce two new fitness programs open to all ages.

Our first program is our Dynamic Yoga for Badminton Players class, which will feature renowned Yoga instructor and fitness program director, Carol Day.

Professional athletes around the world use Yoga to enhance their performance, and for the first time, we will introduce a dynamic yoga class, a unique program designed for empowering the wrists, back, and core strength which plays such an important role in badminton.

Enhance your quality of badminton with increased self-awareness, flexibility, strength, balance, and energy. Rigorous, well-balanced sequences designed specifically for badminton players to stretch and tone all muscle groups. Series recommended but drop-ins are welcome.

Our second program is a two-month series of invigorating Qigong classes aimed at enhancing our focus and spirit, lead by Shi Chung Chiang, disciple of International Kung Fu champion, Grand Master Shi Guo Song.

The basic theories, concepts, and first foundation exercises of traditional Chinese QiGong will be taught during this class series. Students of all ages and physical conditions can expect to experience a strong visceral feeling of Qi, and easily perform slow moving exercises, along with controlled breathing and mental concentration that will circulate, balance, and build Qi throughout the body, thereby contributing to internal strength and wholeness of body and mind.
