Anup injured his ankle in his match against Joe Wu 19-9 in the 2nd game, appeared to be his archilles, he walked around the court and managed to win 2 points for the match. He could hardly move...

    Phew...Yoga Pratama finally beat Aditya Prakash, 21-23, 21-15, 21-11.
He will face either Andre or Koichi Saeki who still fight neck to neck in 3rd game...

6 matchpoints wasted by AKT, finally succed by 7 attempt mp's Andre Kurniawan Tedjono beat Koichi Saeki 21-23 21-19 26-24. Never seen a match as long as this, they must feel worn out after. 82 min playing games. Has somebody known bad match longer than this one ?

If I'm not wrong....the longer match than this was between Jo Novita/Greysia Polii vs Aki Akao/Tomomi Matsuda in one of the SS tournament....last abt 90 min or more....

    yes..
but, before rally points, the record was
Peter Rasmussen - Sun Jun in Final IBF World Championship 128 minutes

    and some people said that
Gao/Huang(CHN) Vs Ra/Lee (KOR) hold that record in AE2005 Semi Final. 2h 27m (147 minutes)...

That must have been an incredible match.

Disappointing day for the kiwis - esp Donna & Henry losing. Hope Henry took it OK.

This is the tournament website which some of you may find interesting. The picture is a bit blurry but looks to be of kiwis Luke Charlesworth & Brock Matheson. I wonder if noluckjim is attending (& taking photos!)

    I didn't see Noluckjim yesterday.
Andre's match was very exciting, from set 1 to set 3 the point are very close and alot of time, same point and just increasing 1 by 1 from both side.
