Since late 80's to current date, Indonesian players style is similar to Chinese school of badminton. I agree that Indonesia is not as strong as it used to be. I believe it is just temporary, just like China during the 90's. We should see players from Indonesia challenging for the titles in every category more often in the near future.

It is glad to read the above as Wong implied that Msia is also a powerhouse in badmintion which I am not so certain although I am also a Msia supporter. This is mainly due to the lack of depth of Msia players in games involving women players especially in the XD. At this moment Msia at most could only call herself a powerhouse in men's section. So it is interesting to see the spread of representatives in this year's final which coincidently farily reflect the balance of power in today's badminton. No Msia? No problem as we are not totally deserved to be there still.

In the singles competition, now that the major hurdles are clear, I am sure the lovers have enough motivation in them to win the titles together. However, just to be safe, I PAWed for CJ and LL. Women's doubles should be taken by ZYW/ZTT. CS/ZYL are not yet in the right mould. But then, anything can happen. Men's and Mixed Doubles are with clear favourites, Korea and Denmark. It is up to the underdogs to bite.
