    oh no...yonex might have failed with colour scheme again. if it isn't red, then it's yellow...
    ie: RED- Arc10, AT900t, AT900p, AT700, MP100
    YELLOW-Arc7, MP99, and now, ArcZ???

    and i was just starting to think that yonex was getting it right with black rackets such as the ns9900 and the cab35...

    And the new bags... Yonex shamelessly copies the design of Li-Ning bags :) ..

    I thought that most of the designs were copied from Wilson.

    some info

    According to a thread from a Chinese Forum, the ArcSaber Z-Slash is decribed as follows:

    1.Theme Base: Lime Green/Yellow; this color might called 'Laser Yellow'
    2.The Flame is smaller but the head is nor round, hence reduces air resistance. as a result, increases swing speed.
    3.More about the flame color: Top & Bottom - Lime Green;
    2 o'clock & 8 o'clock - White;
    4 o'clock & 10 o'clock - Red(like the 'boiling blood' on the new Cab35)
    Left & Right - Big Shiny letter "Z"
    4. between the grip and shaft, there is a grip band, like the MIZUNO FX series has.
    5.Most important characteristic of Z-Slash is "Smash"

    For those who can read Chinese, plz refer to:

    Note: The above infomations have not been verified by Yonex:)

    ahahaha I was hoping the arc z would be black with gold detailing, so as to make it look mysterious and enigmatic =)

    Also ants, any updates on how the reviewing is coming along? A slight preview of the masterpeice perhaps? =P

    Black with gold... That reminds me of the original power rangers of yester-years gone by. Turbo was the series I think, and the black ranger popped up and he looked really cool in black with the gold armor and stuff.

    That color scheme would have been awesome.

    Too bad Power Rangers is just getting recycled over and over again now.

    I'm excited to read the review from ants. Any bets that the review comes out the day before the release?

    jk thanks for all your efforts ants! :D

    So much secrecy on the latest racket. Wonder how this latest yonex racket performs compared to the li ning racket. If I am not mistaken this may be the 1st post li ning, high end racket (after the chinese team switched rackets) to be launched by yonex. Is this the reply from yonex hence the secrecy? Your two cents please, thank you.

    Secrecy ?? If they wanted to keep it a secret they wouldnt try to hyp it with "look something is coming"... "look it is goeing to be awesome".. "wait.. we will release something soon"... If they "really" wanted secrecy they would
    not tell anything before it was released..

    they are obviousy trying to "hype" the racket and technology :)

    And if it was indeed a new killer racket that would be an advantage for YY players, and they had it developed.. It would really have made sense to bring it to WC2009 instead of "giving" all the medals to Li-Ning :D :D

    I suspect it will be a very nice power in the Z, but of course many of the "features" these days from Yonex are also obviously things just to try to make it harder for the copycats to clone their rackets..

    Somethime i get the impressione that this is becoming a hgher priority for YY management to make cloning difficult, than to increase the performance of the racket tech .-)

    I higly suspect this to be the main reason for incorporating laser-paint, holgrafic paint etc...just to make it harder to reproduce the paint job for all those copy makers in cn...
