Ants,

I definitely like the review, headlight to even balance is good since I CONSTRUCT my points rather than power smash my way all-the-way. But it is not hard to fathom based on your review that it will definitely be full of smash power despite the headlight to even balance weighing--just like NS9900.

I think if one can supply their own power, then a headlight racket will definitely be appreciated (for its maneuverability and SPEED)--so long as one does indeed supply their own power rather than rely more on the 'tilt' equilibrium of a head heavy racket.

Good thing I waited for the review rather than rush out to buy Arc 10 since I've already playtested it. And since I personally likened it to my Gosen Roots Aermet 8900 blue, I'd rather give Arc 10 a pass.

Z best I guess amongst your review (got to try it personally though, he he.) Can't wait to hold one. I'll get mine in Japan. I also did with my NS9900. Same with my Gosen. Too bad, Mizuno in Japan aren't made in Japan (so no need to carry extra weight while traveling since they can be purchase most everyhere).

Metal Orange

P.S. Did Arc Z at any point in time ever tinker with their colour scheme until they arrive at their final paintjob?

Is the Arc Z something like a Ns9000 or a Ns9900 with a lot more power?

Here's a list of some of the racquets that Ants have reviewed for those who are comparing racquets. I assume they are by no means side-by-side comparisons but are rather individually independent reviews. I guess only Ants will be able to clarify if this is true.

Thanks Ants for the review , as always it has been very informative.

Sounds like the Z , is a good powerful racket.

The things I am looking forwards to for this year , are the new T-shirts/bags/trainers , and defintly the new BG66 Maxima!

Even though I have the money I will probaly go for a apcs racket or a nanospeed 9900 another one
Is the name on the shaft a slash or something else e.g arcsaber 12 ?

Of course :) we all know Ants have had the luxury of playing with the latest toys for quite some time :D

But to play the devils advocate, If you read the review it is really NOTHING in the review that is indicating details of the design, technology, color, frame-design etc..
My assumption is off course that this is not allowed, as the racket has not yet been officially released, so the review is mainly Ants view of how it feels when he plays with it :)

But for conspiracy theory minded people there are not really any disclosures in the review that could not be "guessed" :) .. If you think about it any new racket could "match" the review, if you find it to have great power for smashing :)

From what I've seen so far, expect this new racquet to be the same price as a Nanospeed 9900 in UK.

I contacted Yonex UK today and they do not have any information on the new racquet. They are due to get one but don't have a delivery date.

They have no information when the racquet will be available for sale in UK. I tried to get one to review for my blog.

I'll keep you posted.

Hey guys, it doesnt matter what technologies and marketing strategies Yonex use, a lightsabre will always be better than an arcsabre

Yes, it will come out in 12 days. As for getting the racket, I usually buy from mybadmintonstore.com but that's because I insist on having my high end rackets strictly jp coded.
