I don't know why they reserve blue only for low end to midrange level, is it too common, or maybe too much people like blue, the old AT 300 was sexy, new one is black/yellow just as many other racquets. Yonex gives us lots of red racquets (AT 700, NS 7000, ARC 10...), lots of black (I don't even want to start a list), yellow (ARC 7, new NS 8k, MP 99), but they don't seem to like other colors xD

So far it got good reviews from the Pros especially Taufik,LCW and PeterGade. All of them have 2 "Z" each.

    i highly doubt that.

on a side note, i guess if the racket is really good, as in, VERY GOOD (better than arc10 or 700 good), then i don't think people will be complaining for long.

Yes the racket doesn't appeal to me , I think it looks ugly!

But then again , some people may like it . But people have different tastes

Too true... I hope they get a bit more creative in the future. Getting a little tired of the same old style and the same old colours... try something new!! I don't reeeally dislike it or anything though, I can take the yellow (poor yellow, such an unpopular colour).

Anyway, I'm not holding my breath on the final version being much different. Hope I get a surprise though! I've been waiting for this ever since I saw the first images, which actually looked pretty cool.

Honestly, the color does not matter too much, it's how the racket performs.

Yeah, one can have a very nice looking color racket however it performance is bad or one can have a racket that has bad looking color racket and the perforamnce is good.

Also, one would not be able to see clearly see the colors when your swinging your racket during game play .

That's true, but if the racket color is super UGLY than one might decide not to use it... I know performance is the main thing, but it doesn't hurt to have the looks also... Would you be using that nice looking yonex jp bag if it was let's say, some ugly puke green color :p But who knows, that yellow on the racket could turn out to be some kinda metallic finish, in which case I won't mind....

maybe they will change the yellow-greenish to gold.. that would work nice i think..

Anyway I don't care if it is ugly if it plays well :)

I am more dissapointed if there isn't any real technology advancement in th Z..

Aerodynamic frame does not feel like such a "new" thing in racket design :p

    haha lol
That would be a good idea though to an extra $25 you get to customize the colour scheme of the racket like you can do with the Nike 6.0 trainers
We should suggest this to yonex
