Tantrum 200 is really SO nice??
I'm currently using Yonex Nanospeed 9900. Thinking of getting my hands on Tantrum 200 to see the difference.
I'm from Miri by the way lalalala

I received my Tantrum 200 yesterday. I have heard good things about it here. I can't wait to test it out tonight. I'll share my views on it afterwards.

The only thing stopping me from buying Tantrum 200 is that can it hold 30lbs+

Is the tantrum 200 a lot lighter than visible hollow 1800? Much easier to move?

i bought myself an AMP 95 when my friend broke my lovely muscle power 77sp with his steel racquet (i should have smashed his head off).. i bought amp bcoz lethal 50 and tantrum 200 are out of stock.. i own the apacs nano9900power but doesnt play well withit coz i am used to head heavy racquet which give me more tangential force while smashin..

nano 900 power (not 9900) do feel a bit alike to mp77 but lack of a special feel of stability that mp77 gives.. mp77 gives a firm, stable & confident feel when u smash or even when u hold it..

Amp95 are stiffer than mp77.. i heard amp95 is the most head heavy among apacs? still i am not very familiar with it yet.. maybe i havnt get used to amp yet..

i am very very eager to own lethal 50 and tantrum 200.. findin budget.. really wanted to try out SOTX racquests but malaysia dont have any distributors.. but for such performance and for these price, apacs rules..

inside information from SOTX itself, they are currently under final negotiation with one company who will carry SOTX in Malaysia as exclusive distributor.

Nice to know Sarawakian here.. lol.... yeap tantrum 200 really give you great power and not losing the control too.. For me it slightly head heavy and help on your attacking. Just make sure dont make your grip too thick if not.. it will be more balance racket. But if you like balance racket, it should be fine to have a thick grip... actually if more depend on your preference.

Here is my initial impression after playing with it for one session:

    Racket: Tantrum 200
    String: BG-80 @ 22 or 23 lbs, not 24lbs like I am used to
Grip: replaced original apacs grip with C S (or COS) brand grip (cheap knockoff of Karakal PU super grip that came with the racket)
    Shuttle used: feather

My go to racket so far has been SOTX Woven 13. This is my reference.

First off, I noticed the handle is slightly longer than my woven 13 and the racket face is a bit longer as well. This makes the shaft shorter. Flex is stiff+ like Dinkalot indicated.

I find the Tantrum 200 to be slightly head heavy. Clears and smashes does require a little bit more effort on the player's part. I find that I don't consistently hit the birdie on the sweetspot. Maybe it's just me adjusting or perhaps the Tantrum 200 has a smaller sweet spot? Other Tantrum 200 owners can comment on this. But once I hit it properly, the smashes are powerful...I am a bit surprised at how fast the shuttle travel when I smash given that this is just a slightly head heavy racket. On defense, this racket is quick. The control is excellent. The feel of the Tantrum 200 is solid and the touch is pretty good but I think it is still second to the Woven 13 in these two areas.

Yeah OkieOutie, I agree with ya. Apacs racket are slightly longer than other Yonex racket and take some adjustment to get used to. It took me about a couple days but the more I play the more It's grown on me.

Once you're fully acquainted to it, maybe write another quick review again? :D.

i had my 1st play with it yesterday
    stringed with bg80@ 28lbs.

im not a hard hitter soo i cant say anything about power.
its not head heavy at all. more like balance.
the racket is medium stiff, no where close to arcsaber10.

i think the racket is pretty easy to play.
considering only costing me for less than 40 us dollar. its pretty good racket.

A short review on my lethal 60 during my 1st play.

A very tiring racket, and more stiff and head heavy than my amp95.

Power is great provided that u hit the sweet spot n to be able o flex the shaft, had some difficulties in adapting to a longer n stiffer shaft. Color scheme wise is awesome, totally in love with it

Have you also tried Lethal 50? If so is it a big difference between them?

Bummer about the strings! Which strings and tension did you use?
I thought Lethal 50 and Lethal 60 have the same balance point? Since Lethal 60 is supposed to be 3mm longer I guess that Leathal 50 should then be relatively more head heavy.
