So the AS ZS is a masterpiece ?? Why ??? Most defensive style players would probably hate it. Moving as you did, from a control racket, the AT-900T, to an attack racket is confusing - maybe your previous racket choice was not correct for your technique ????

I'm reading complete bull. You can acquire proper technique and strokes and absolutely hate the AS ZS.

    Good grief this is pathetic.....

    Your own preference.

    AT-700, AT-900T, AT-900P, Arc Saber 10, MP-100....

    All these rackets are good.

Why ZS? Just use it continuously for a couple of weeks, then switch back to your previous racket. You will realize that the ZS is a very stable racket, especially when you hit the shuttle....

Why not ZS? Well.... basically... it boils down to your own preference....

    Thanks.

    :D :D :D i see some "spices" are added
    :p

All are good rackets. Personal preference, style, skills, gameplay will slowly "lead" you to your own "THE ONE"

Well... Arc Saber 10 is one of my favourite before ZS. I owned 2 of them. I prefer the ZS because of the power it can generate.

In fact, I am not bias against any rackets. Currently I am having AT-700, AT-700LTD, AT-900T, AT-900P, Arc Saber 10 and ZS. Overall, the AT-900T was my preferred racket before ZS.

I tried NS9900 and did not purchase it because I don't like the feel.

ZS is certainly not my last racket. I will try new rackets as they come along.

    Thanks.

Completely agree! And your preferred racquet will be different as your game progresses.

I noticed Gade has not switched to the Arc-Z even though he have got it from YY.

What do you think is the reason?

    a) He doesn t like it?
    b) He needs more time to adjust? has not decided?
    c) YY has not launched marketing of Z in Denmark, so they don't wanna "market" with pro players yet?

What do you guys think? :)

Top ten reasons why Gade is not using Arc-Z:

    1) he can't decide to call it "arc-zed" or "arc-zee"
    2) needs more sponsorship money from YY to change his mind
    3) reckons he will need a bandana to complete the zorro impersonation
    4) wants to remain faithful to ArcS10
    5) is worried he will hit the birdie so fast that it disintegrates before getting to the opponent
    6) wants to give twobeer the opportunity to post this reply
    7) hates "iso-oval" "mongrels"
    8) the yellow bits of Arc-Z doesn't complement his hair colour
    9) he wants to let other players achieve higher speed records before he pulverises all of them when he breaks the sound barrier
    10) he doesn't want to be mistaken for a power ranger !!!!

    :D:D

    twobeer,

he needs more time to adjust (but does not have the luxury since the next big tournaments are just around the corner, better to focus and hone his skills on the rackets they are well accustomed already.

tournament wins and monetary incentives plays a vital role in their decision making too (sponsorship money to change to a certain model--if they are already using the same brand--means less if they can recoup it back in winnings and ranking points).

there's a sense of urgency in case of the pros. not the same case with non-pros or enthusiasts.

I would say it's A... I don't think it's an adjustment thing as they've got the racket now for more than a month so if they want to, they can just use it during training(they do train alot more than us I'm pretty sure)... And with their skill level, I don't think the adjustment period will be very long at all... I think not many top pros will use this racket(unless Yonex gives them pressure) Did many pros use the 9900 at all?
