Dont know who right who wrong.....but i personally think NW not withdraw as this is his home ground in HK............the locals like to cheer for him.....unless he is suffering with serious injury or sickness........;);)

    Hmm..

i got the same confirmation from Hau-ge that FuHF is withdrawing.
    ..showing his age, possibly??..
..i think that's just a rough number (HK$2Mil = $258,064.51) If i'm not mistaken the prize money of this HK Open is $250,000. So, close enough lah..
..not only for SDK, but to Taufik and/or Simon. Any one of those 3 could finally reach the Final Rd..;)
Maybe LinDan saw 3 of the INA MS players in his half of the draw and noticed his first Rd. opponent is SDK, thus he thought otherwise..;)

new match ups to discuss now

so there is not the match Sony - Dan we gotta talk about, now it's Choong Hann vs Sony:eek:
WCH was struggling heavily on Saturday, it looked like he just won because of Kestutis Navickas' injury early in the rubber  - he was doing well in the MD before, he said something went wrong in his head when going down in second single game, but for HK he hopes to be fit - and he should, not so cold there:cool:

Anyway, whoever gets to 3rd round has obvisiously to eliminate the still bold 'WTGTMS':D before Taufik takes over:cool::cool::cool:

if some of the girls withdraw, we should think about how to donate a ticket for Olga, she played pretty well beating Juliane Schenk and in the mixed match she was even much better:eek: unfortunately she's not going to China:mad:

IBF should do something about all this late withdrawals. It's acceptable if it is genuine due to injuries. It's not doing the sport any good.

With LD's withdrawal, Sony has virtually been promoted to 2nd seed.

Last minute withdrawal from CHN is doing the sport no good.

The problem is the draw was held too early

    Look at ATP & WTA,
Qual draw held on Friday and the match started on Saturday
Main Draw held on Sat/Sun and the match started on Monday

why? it's not first time they do so, and everybody knows that they do not care about the sports, the spectators or anything else outside the mainland at all:mad:
let the others take the money and that's it:eek: I just do believe that LD fans will come out with some ridiculous comments if Taufik appears on the SS winner list next:D

BWF wanted to try it. And we BCers voted and talked about it in this thread: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54092
