The Lethal 60/70 should be the racket that will fit that requirement. Mine was a little off spec though. As far as I can tell the paint job looks fine. The grip was of a different style from the other two though.
edge saber z Saw the new edge saber z today. similar colour to the yonex but has 2 colour schemes at the shaft: 1. yellow at the top half and black at the bottom half of the shaft 2. black at the top half and yellow at the bottom half of the shaft about same price as the other yonex like replicas under apacs. specs stated; balance point 285+- tension <30lbs cant rmbr the rest somehow i feel the one with the black lower half (yellow upper half of shaft) is lighter mebe due to head light balance. If any1 has tried it, pls send me or post a review on it.thx
hello everyone... i am an APACS racquet user. i am currently owning a NanoPower900 (Red) and a EdgeSaber10. i found that my NanoPower900 (strung at 22lbs/0.66mm) is not really that powerful when comes to smashes, but for defensive play is good. i prefer EdgeSaber 10 because it is much more powerful when comes to smashes. as a result, i prefer head heavy racquet as it is more powerful for offensive play. can anyone recommend me any APACS racquets, other than EdgeSaber10, which are head heavy, and are fairly good for defensive play as well? thanks
Sorry man, my Friday session was cancelled due to a school dance and I just got back from a golf trip to Phoenix. Will play this Friday and give a revew. As a note, all the rackets will be strung with Ashaway mp at 24 x 26 lbs by me on a silent power crump stringing machine.
can u tell me the price u got it for druss?excluding shipping.if possible,4 each racket and where u bought it from?cheers
I bought them all for the listed price on www.apacscanada.com. Shipping was free for over $250 for me, not sure about international.
hmm...i can get apacs rackets at around USD60 for 2 rackets (even the latest edge saber z)...seems it isnt so cheap outside...
US and Canada do typically sell for more and even at the prices we see they are still a good deal. I prefer the Apacs designed rackets over the yonex clones myself. The tantrum, lethal and visible hollow series.
Tantrum 300 I ordered a Tantrum 300 and a visible hollow 1700, 1800 was out of stock. I must say that Tantrum 300 is a really good pick, string with BG 80 at 23/25. This racquet is a major improvement from my Yonex Arc Saber 10, everything is better at half the price. The visible hollow 1700 is also a good racquet, not as good as Tantrum 300, but what can you expect for a 72$ racquet, really good bang for the buck. Need to give more try to this 2 new toys. Also Apacs PU grip perform in the same way as Karakal PU super.
do give a review, especially on the Tantrum 300. Supposedly there isn't much difference between the Tantrum 200 and 300. Just that the 300 is heavier and therefore gives that bit more power.
Well I was finally able to play with the Tantrum 300 and VH1800. I must say they are both pretty good rackets. The 300 had a bit more power for me but the VH had a bit more control. both were strung at 24x26. I only got to play a few hours with them so I haven't formed a concrete impression yet. Will keep playing and updating.
Well, I have decided that as of right now here is the order of the rackets that I like. Tantrum 300 VH 1800 Lethal 70 The tantrum was the best all round racket, pretty evenly balanced with a very slight head heaviness. The VH1800 was a pretty close second with very good control and a decent amount of power, very evenly balanced. The lethal 70 I just had trouble getting used to, maybe some more play time will let me get a "handle" on it.
From what I've read, the tantrum 300 is the exact same racket as the tantrum 200 but with a new paint sceme. If that's the case then just buy the 200 from apacs uk, if you really want the 300 then you might have to order from apacs canada.
