Dear all Sandakanrians... I once lived in Sim-Sim (my late grandparents house at jambatan 14) back in the 90's. During those days, i still remember playing badminton in a hall near the sandakan municipal football field...if i still can rememberlah.........until i move to K.K and then West Malaysia. So..how's the progress of badminton hall there in sandakan nowadays??....not been in sandakan for more than a decade already.....but it is always nice to hear those who come from sandakan.......
Hey... Hey man, nice to here from you. Which part of west malaysia you are in now? Now there is a lot of changes here in sandakan town. Now there are a lot of badminton hall already. Only one not good is sandakan town is scaterred to 4 parts already. Sandakan town until bandar ramai-ramai, Bandar Kim Fung, Bandar Indah and Bandar Sibuga Jaya (known as batu 8). About badminton hall, now we got Sandakan Sports Complex, Tadika Chi Wah, Dewan Hakka, and a lot more.
Dear stevemariyoh, Waaaahh...it seems that the progress is very good. Currently i'm staying in Setapak, however a lot of my uncles/aunties are still living in sandakan...batu 4 (if i'm not mistaken), bekara/sg. anib and mostly in sim-sim itself. Are there any huge badminton hall (> 20 courts) there like here in puchong (MBA hall) and Wangsa Maju (previously known as KLRC hall)?.
Sorry for the late reply man.... I got problem with my hard disk. Have to reformatted my PC. Any way to answer your question. The biggest hall we have here now is only the badminton hall at Sandakan Sports Complex. Anyway it only accomodate 12 courts. At least for the Sandakan community it is big already.
ok guys, if I ever get a chance to go back again, can you guys pls take me there All my frieds are all over the world except for Sandakan so it's very hard to find kaki. The Sandakan Sports Complex is one place I have not been to after all these times of going back. bchaiyow

SM St Mary's hall No regular place for the time being. If I am not busy, I will be playing at st mary's hall on wednesday, saturday and sunday. Im still looking for a gang to play on monday to friday. Maybe we can go and play together.

I've never play at st mary's. On tuesday I play at Dewan Sibuga (beside tmn mawar), Friday at Hakka on Saturday at Pandu Putri, Sunday 4pm at Sports Complex. Sometime monday and wednesday night I play 75km away from Sandakan, at Desa Talisai, IJM Plantation
Hi, if and when I do come back, I will PM you I am always looking to play whereever I go. Last time I went back, I went to Chi Hua school and Dewan. As compared to Canada, it sure is hot haha.. after one game, felt like I just showered with my clothes on. bchaiyow

Dewan Masyarakat now is busy for many function. Wedding Ceremony, pc fair, and a lot of exhibition. I never get a chance to play there..
