The INA squad team manager and krisna conveyed a few words of wisdom and appreciation for the efforts of the whole squad.

Last yr Iskandar also suffered the same fate. So I just wonder why China coach could read our game plan but not the other way round. I am just dumbfounded.:confused: Wouldn't the M'sian team do something to counter the China's game plan before the game? Lesson had learnt but it repeated again. Just don't understand.

Zulfadlli has another problem, stamina. Last year Iskandar played in both Team & individual, lost to Tian, & Iskandar has better stamina than Zulfadli.

During the match, Limsy said Nelson Heg/Teo were nervous, esp Teo, thus a lot of unforced errors. But credit to the Koreans, only rep in finals ;)

I tuned on RTM1 a little too late to get a glimpse of this young man, Loh Wei Sheng (seeded 5/8), who managed to do so well to enter the finals by beating the equally impressive Sukamta Evert (3/4), although I understand from this forum that there were a few bad line calls not in Sukamts's favour.

But I had a chance to witness why Msians Yew Hong Kheng and Ow Yao Han were seeded MD1. Their Indonesian opponents simply had no answers to the Msian domination in the SF and lost timidly 21-10, 21-7. Unfortunately the Msians may have to pay the price as Ow had to play in the XD final as well.

I must congratulate the Malaysian organizers for being almost perfectly spot on in their seedings. Except for the MS, where Loh Wei Sheng will meet China's Huang Yuxiang (3/4), all the other events were between the #1 and #2 seeds.

It remains to be seen which country will win the most titles by tomorrow, Malaysia or China? China already had the WD in the bag and will challenge Malaysia for the XD and MS and Thailand for the WS. If Ow Yao Han is unable to recover fully in time after his XD match, the tough Koreans will be ready to snatch the MD title. Hopefully before this, Ow and partner Lai Pei Jing will be able to defeat their China XD counterparts Liu Cheng/Bao Yixin to put Malaysia even with one title each.

Therefore on paper, China seems the more likely champion as it did in the team event, unless Loh WS can pull off another "David" against his higher ranked China opponent, Huang Yuxiang, who took revenge on Zulkiffli in the SF, and Ow is able to shine again as he did in the MD SF. In addition, hopefully Malaysia gets a surprise help from Thailand when the seemingly error-prone but very experienced Sapsiree (1) managed to dispose of suetyan's newly-found friend Suo Di (2) in the WS. ;)

Now suetyan must support the other of Malaysia's title event finals against China to ensure victory for Malaysia!

I will support by tuning in earlier than 2 pm tomorrow. :D

Uncle Loh, Lai PJ is injured. They had to call for medical but Ow/Lai still won the semi. So, tomm, unless Lai makes a miraculous recovery, very hard for Msia XD to win.
Ow/Yew can make a go for it in MD.

According to the commentator, tomm RTM 1 will start showing at 3 pm, so BCers dont get  if they're not broadcasting at 2 pm. Hopefully, RTM will realise Ow/Lai playing 1st match, haha

    ow/lai vs ricky/destiara
lai is doing a great job at the net and ow is doing well in smashing
the ina pair commit many mistake(lai pei jing too:rolleyes:) as they afraid to lift the shuttle as oyh never miss to score every smashing point
    lpj is injured during 10-5
but ina pair unable to capitalize the advantage and lost it:)

    liu cheng/bao vs thailand
bao is slower as her back and knee is giving her problem
if pisit only play 1 event,he will have enough stamina to settle the china pair

    sapsiree vs deng xuan
dont want to discredit anyone as i learn my lesson last year when those are not in the stadium try to argue with me:rolleyes:
    anyway
sapsiree is the better player on court

    loh wei sheng vs evert
    about the 3 questionable point
    the 1st point
i think it is like the final point of ae ms final
while evert is lcw and loh wei sheng is kenichi tago this time
the line judge from malaysia say it is in for evert point
and the umpire from hong kong overrule it

    lol
    karma?
    as for the 2nd point
loh wei sheng tap at the net and evert complain that lws racket hit the net
i not sure about this, but i think it is the shuttle that hit the net
i not sure about this point
    as for the 3rd point
evert smash to lws backhand and the linejudge say out
evert complain that it is in
i was at the court side for recording lws video
and i saw it is out
    i am sure about this
    atleast 2 cm wide:rolleyes:

    zulfadli vs hxy
zulfadli is notably slower and smash weaker
he could have lost in the 2nd round to the korean and quite lucky that the 3triple winner of under 16,ng ka long cannot find his touch yesterday;)
its is good that zulfadli lost today
pour some cold water on his parent head

    is time to join bjss
to boost up his stamina and speed
his lower part of body is weaker:rolleyes:

tang jin hua/xia huan vs yang/sonia
    again
too many unforce error from mas pair;)

    yew/ow vs ina
    well
ina pair didnt perform to their standard
ow/yew is in command for the whole match as the ina pair commit to many mistake

    teo/nelson vs kang/choi
they are on the same level
but kang/choi is able to play their own game and teo/nelson doesnt;)
obviously teo ee yi didnt have big match temperament, too many mistake
is a good experience for the 17 years old, hopefully they get a bronze in wjc too:)
