    That's great!!

Thanks Lars. Here are some questions I have for you! I tried to keep it short.

    BACKGROUND

Q: How old were you when you started playing for the first time, and also when playing seriously under a proper coach?

Q: Did you play any other sports before?

Q: How did you combine badminton with school?

Q: How old were you when you stopped school?

Q: What made you decide to turn to fulltime badminton? How old were you then?

Q: Who was your favourite player(s) when younger?

Q: Have you suffered any injuries before? How do you come back from injuries?

    DAILY LIFE

Q: Why did you choose to play doubles?

Q: Many of your teammates are part-time students. Do you study as well - if so what subject?

Q: How do you keep motivated?

Q: What do you do on days you do not feel like training?

Q: Do you have any special food or drinks that you take on the day of a match?

Q: When travelling, do you eat the local food? Or, are there any countries you tend to be careful about the food?:D

    EQUIPMENT

Q: What racquet do you currently use?

Q: What strings do you currently use? What tension?

    Q: Model of shoes?

    CURRENT ISSUES

Q: What would you say are your strong points in your game?

Q: Do you ever get recognized in the street as a top badminton player? (before and after the World Championships)

    GENERAL

Q: How would you describe yourself?

Q: How many languages can you speak? Which ones?

Q: Which country is your favourite to visit?

    Q: What’s your favourite food?

Q: Do you watch much TV?

    Q: Favourite song?

Q: Favourite pop group/singer (if any)

Q: Do you play any musical instruments?

Q: Do you have any other hobbies?

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

    Eh?

I thought Cheung was a doctor not a lawyer :D

Shine a light in his face why don't ya

My only question would be what is your motivation, we all have bad days and good days in our profession but what drives you on? Is it something as simple as it would be for the majority of the posters in the love of the game or is it pure and simply money because you have to make your living from badminton or perhaps a mixture of both.

What do you think about when you wake up in the morning? Is it simply I hate work but I have to go or is it I love work and would be there 24/7? In the majority of our working lives we have to do things we don't always like much but with you it should be different (harder) with sponsors wanting a piece of you, radio, TV, school visits, people stopping you in the streets for autographs etc.

How do you feel about this? Is your life your own?

Lars, I read somewhere that you're a graphic designer (so am I). I assume you got your education in Denmark, but where? I'm asking because I am thinking it would be more or less impossible to combine full-time graphic design studies at, say, Danmarks Designskole, with a professional badminton career. Did you attend some special program?

    Or a taxman!!

Lars: How often do you break your strings?
How often do you break your rackets?
How often do you wear out your shoes?

Thanks for sparing us the time.

Its pretty much everthing I would want to ask, and am sure many others will too, so it is better to have it in one post, rather than answering 50 different ones of similar nature.

Good work I say, Just looks funny! ;)

    Welcome Lars

My question(s) to Lars is more of a general nature:

What's the best thing about playing with Jonas??? However, as your doubles partner, what is (if there is any) Jonas' most annoying habit :D (Is Jonas aware of this!? hahaha)???

When you play Sigit, does it piss you off if he does some kind of trick shot, or does it make you feel like pulling one off as well.

And Candra's quick serve, have you thought about doing a quick serve of your own to piss him off.

What do you to try to calm down when sometimes you are really fustrated?

Probably smashes back badly executed trick shots and quick services at the person who tried to do them pissing him off in the first place :p

    Lars,

    1. Knowing that badminton isnt that well payed, at what age did you turn pro and how did you come to the decision to turn pro knowing that you could hardly earn a living. Did you manage it with a part time job.
    2. Always hear Indonesians saying something like 'Wosah', what the hell does that mean.
    3. Favourite player / Most hated player on the circuit?
    4. Reaction from going to BMW Open Champs to World Champions? Pretty good achievement, what did you work on during that gap to achieve so much?
    5. Typical day? Training regime? Typical Week?
    6. Favourite Tournament?
    7. Being so tall, do you have any weaknesses compared to the likes of Indonesians, Koreans who appear to be smaller.
    8. Worst Injury?
    9. Funniest moment on court?
    10. How would you promote badminton more?

That should keep him busy :)

    only 1 question from me:
Why do you think the Chinese mens doubles teams are not doing so well right now? Is it their tactics, arm skill, or not having enough experience?

Interesting questions. I really want to know who's player you can't bear
About the 1st question, it seems to me i've heard Chew&Chan say it (but not sure)

    3. how could i improve power of my smash?

I saw, on tournaments, players which have a thin forearm, with few muscle and they smash 4th or 5th harder than me. It drives mad. I hit the shuttle with all my power but.... sometimes, even my grandmother can do better lol :D .
Is it more a psycological or physical problem?

Thank you Lars (and Jonas) for this initiative. I'm too sad Denmark have lost TC.
Especially for Kenneth Jonassen. He was so close :(
Good luke for Olympics (sorry for my english, i'm not very good  )
