For a yonex in $160-170, you're looking at used Arc 10, Nanospeed 9900, Ti 10, etc.

Trinity 2 is $5 more than your limit, as I stated.

any ideal rackets for an intermediate high school player? Doubles/mixed player?

Will those rackets work well at 26lb?

for that price range, yonex and your play style
    pick from:

    nanospeed 8000
nanospeed 9900 <------ maybe you can get it for $160-170
Arcsaber 10 <----- its usually single racket cause its relatively head heavy.
    cab30/35

also try armortec 900/700 if you want power and head heavy.

26lbs tension is depending on what kind of string and play style soo regardless what kind of racket you pick its depends on you.

are you Azusa california ? if you do go to san gabriel badminton club store, that way you can feel how each of those racket feel. such as headheavy/headlight/balance point etc...

I didn;t like my new NS 9900 from YY but It's starting to grow on me. If you do buy this racket . You might feel like it's numb. Just test out strings. Then when you feel that ccrispy feeling. You know it's cuz you've fouund your match. I like it cuz it's really head light for doubles ;). just gotta get used to it.

ive read over this thread thoroughly, and there are A LOT of good suggestions. why dont you take those advices...? Currently, what your doing is just going in circles. People recommend you a whole bunch of good rackets which seems perferct for you, yet you keep asking the same question.
if your not satisfied with the current suggestions, asking furthur will not satisfy you in any way, IMO.

Anyways +1 for Panda Trinity 2.
Pros: bang for the buck, good performance overall, top service.

Hehe.. in fact, I think that the Cab 30 is the only Yonex that's worth its salt at that price range.

Like the other posters say, if you can look beyond Yonex, you will can a lot of racket at US120.
