Someone with tickets, mind helping answer a few questions? I'm thinking of purchasing the Gold season's pass. 1) Do they only deliver the tickets to you or is there an option to pick up at the stadium. Since I'm in Canada, I don't really want them sent here. 2) I read somewhere (I may be wrong), there is an extra fee for overseas credit cards. I may have misread but can someone please clarify, especially those overseas who have already bought tickets Thanks mb
You can buy the ticket online. Just choose e-ticket on the delivery method and then you can download your ticket. The service charge is minimal.
Hey fastdrop, thanks for the info. You're telling me a ticket printed from my printer that costs RM$758 will be deemed legitimate? I can only assume there is a bar code they can scan or a number code that they can verify as a legit ticket. Also do you know if the Gold pass is a one piece or consists of individual tickets for the different days? Thanks mb
It would be one piece. So select your seat wisely. Alternatively, you could pick up from the stadium when you arrive.
Wow, I thought official tickets are specially printed and sized. I have not tried it as I indicate mine to collect at ticketing counter on actual day. For the downloaded ticket, anyone knows does the ticket needs to be "endorsed & checked" officially? Otherwise, those non-numbered seats may be swamped with downloaded (multiple prints) tickets and cause overcrowding
The self-printed e-ticket, is pretty much like this. This one's from the World Championships in 2007. They are using barcodes for tracking.
OK, at least there is the option of collecting at the counter at the stadium. What did they issue you as proof (like a confirmation number) when you collect?
..as far as i recall, in 2007 WC, when i purchased the ticket online, i was sent a confirmation email showing proof of my purchase. I then printed it and brought it with me to pick up the tix @ the box office. If i recall, they'll need to see your credit card, if you purchased the tix online.

yes, there is as abedeng said.. u must sign up to be a member in order to view the plan .. you could actually print our your ticket if u buy your ticket online.. they will scan the barcode at your printed ticket
