I thought there was only ever the Airblade light and the Airblade Super lite.

Sheldon, the AS Ti and AS1 were discontinued just over a year ago.

The AS in the name is Carltons way of naming the upper range rackets and also the more aerodynamic shaft which is more angular than oval to reduce drag and enhance swing speed.

Well the AS Ti was their most expensive racket at approx £130, and the AS1 was £110.

I think they had 2 racquets back then
Airblade AS Lite and Airblade Ti Lite which were pretty similar appart from the Ti Lite having Titanium.

Nowadays they just have the Airblade Lite which I think is pretty much the same as the old Airblade AS Lite.

    I think.

    Disclaimer:
I have never owned or used any of the above racquets

Are you sure it is an AS lite and not an Airblade Super lite with the S standing for super?

yes i am 100% sure. it is written like this "airblade as-lite". if it stands for airblade super lite, then you have to read it like this, "airblade airblade super lite"... so that can't be..

I have an AS-Lite, it's the pervious years version of the current Lite. The AS-Lite is stiffer than the Lite. Other than that, they're the same AFAIK.
