i think babolat offers lead tape, i seen it in a local store here in toronto but pretty pricey $10CDN for like 3
i love my at600, lol first time having an at does feel prettygood, very manuverable and great for defense =D
is it good on attacking? I mean AT 600 is medium flex plus it is a 4U, won't it be too light as an attacking racket? How it feel actually? I was interested in getting one
it is lead tape... what else could it be? duct tape? any way, i've been longing to get a armortec its been very long since they released a new one they should be probably designing a new one by now...
Armortec is no longer the biggest priority of YY IMO....ARC and NS are more important probably.... BTW, those are Blitzzard's racquets, so I think it's safe to assume what he put onto his own racquets? And as he said above, adding that much lead tape is like an extra 20 grams, and would prove useless in a rally not to mention detrimental to the durability of the racquet.
i think yonex already been through with the head heavy stuff, they cant make rackets anymore head heavy , it wouldnt be an advancement, it'll become a drag so the armortec line is probably at the end of it's r&d life where yy need to look for other design breakthrough only thing i can see if any, for armortec, is have super stable head-heavy aero iso head and stiff long thin shaft with short handle but that probably wont happen
i have the at700 limited word edition (with the white dragon on the shaft) with nbg98 @ 24lb its pretty good but i find it rather heavy for double games even after playing with it for 1 year. Thinking of bying a n9900
AT600 is my first modern racquet with CAB8 as my last one before that from long time ago. I've put Zymax 62 @ 24x22 lb on it. I found it pretty maneuverable and pretty satisfying for quick smashes yet sensitive enough for net plays. The flexible shaft does help in power generation and arm strength development. Now experimenting with AT900T and see if I can get more mileage from this old arm swing. Bottom line, love Armortec very much. Wish to be able to handle the temperamental AT700 some day
i have 2 YY AT 1. AT700SP old colour,3U-G4,YY BG80 #28 2. AT Superbrand Limited Edition 2430/5000,3U-G4,YY BG80 #26.
AT Superbrand LTD = AT700 old colour Different colour scheme but not much difference in specs as usual.
Ah... It's been a while. The layout has changed so much... It doesn't have that feeling anymore, haha. I guess I'll have to get used to it. I'm still enjoying my AT-900P.
Thanks for that info. Remembering what you said, I got the AT Superbrand LTD (or superbarand ;-)) last week from a local store here. Apparently, they got 15 of them from Indonesia some time ago. So, the racket has been lurking at the back being ignored by shoppers for the latest and greatest. The grip is already dead but everything seems to be still in shape. Love the thermal bag that came with it. That said, I am afraid I am still getting used to the less head heavy AT900T (AT600 before that) so this gorgeous AT will have to wait. I see it as a development target to aspire for. Until then, more sessions required in the court!
Nice.... By the way which part of Borneo are you from? I recalled seeing at least a few AT Super Brands LTD sometime ago, wondering if you have actually purchased one of them.
I like the feeling of AT series too since the first Yonex racket i had ISO 250 Long in 1997 which is 13 years ago. currently have 2 Yonex AT 700 (1 broken and repaired) and 3 Yonex AT 700 LTD. Hmm... maybe I can only say that i am a AT700 lover. haha
Dont do it lol, Arc-10 Will not definely creates the same kind of power, mostly if yoru use to your at700, even when you get use to the racket it wont feel just right.
