hey there....if u r goin for head heavy rcquets, try them first, at least swing them b4 u buy...n for AT50, it definitely head heavy ,....very much head heavy than Arc008...its stiff(actually a stiff- reating will b approprate)....arc 008 is pretty much moderatly balanced....hope this helps....

In forum I heard someone said that AT 30 got more head-heavy than AT 50 and AT 30 is more cheaper than AT 50==

I just bought arc008 3 days ago. I measure the balance point, it's 304, unstrung. I don't have at50, but I have at700 w/ bp=300. At700 is a head heavy racket. I'm curious, why yonex put "even balance" on the shaft of arc008, w/ bp=304, it's suppossed to be a head heavy racket. Sorry, I have no comment about playing style.

hey there...i had an AT50 which is 87gm, BP 310mm , and after, stringing and a thin overgrip,it ended up 98gm....with Bp 305~310 mm,I think its much head heaver than AT30....and very hard on ur wrist , if ur a wristy player....

dont get me wrong bt ur plyn style decides ur racquet ....if u r having fairly fast hands, u can opt for a stiff head light racquet, like NS800 or even NS850...wihch will b good for defance also...they tend to b in the lighter side of 3U(85-87g).....i wount say its the racquet makes the shuttle go like bomb!!!, its ur technique....

go for arc008, tried it and very nice in smashing, it' s a head heavy racket. I strung it with bg80 string at 24lbs, I can said that the stiffness of the racket is just a perfect match with this string at this tension.

Is the Arc008 the same as the ArcSaber 8DX?

If so, I've tried it and at first I was REALLY impressed with it... But then when I started smashing... It didn't feel right... It seemed really weak even with BG80 at 24lbs.

Now I'm using AT900PLC with NBG95 at 24lbs... Soooo sweet... I do admit my defense is really weak though since it is fairly head heavy...
