i think spore papers put the groups in wrong order?
i got this from a chinese site

    Uber Cup
    i. CHN vs MAS
    ii. TWN vs JPN
    iii. DEN vs HOL
    iv. KOR vs INA

    Thomas Cup
    i. CHN vs JPN
    ii. KOR vs THA
    iii. MAS vs INA
    iv. DEN vs GER

    a) (i) winner will play with (ii) winner in semi-finals
    b) (iii) winner will play with (iv) winner in semi-finals

then a) winner will play b) winner in finals

ok..i am quite sure that d "chinese site" has indicated the TC n UC in wrong order..u can see: CHN will meet MAL or AUST in TC (which is not true BUT in UC)..so basically, the grouping is correct but the 3rd column's order is wrong..

anyway, thanks for ur info again to dismiss my doubt..enjoy your trip to INA..

    Where is Mia

I notice that Mia Audina apparently will not play in Uber Cup against Denmark.

Does anybody know an explanation for that?

China, Korea will pull through 3-0 without any fuss.

If Mia was playing, Holland could win all three singles. Without her, Denmark should win comfortably.

Japan and Taiwan have equal chance. I think Japan will pull through.

indo could take 1 or 2 points off korea, but korea will probably go thru... apparently they're resting their best players... we indo's still have some hope for the women team :)

    yep, i think so too
especially with polii/natsir (polii got some sharp smash)
maria kristin is good too, but her stamina is rather low i think

Wow, China is off to a rather quick start.

I guess this means I'll stay up for a little while longer LOL.

    hmm...

Camilla is having problems with her opponent. :(

anyone else on the forum watching the match? or keeping track of the score?

Camilla's opponent, must be putting a lot of pressure on her.

Jae Youn Jun of Korea is handing it to Silvi Antarini of Ina.

Camilla is fighting back now :)

I knew she couldn't let the match go without a fight ;)
