Congratulations to Bao, commiserations to Kenneth.

Now lets get the little formality of the 2nd doubles out of the way for the nail-biting big finish.

I too am Asian, but I'm for Denmark in this one. I would love to see Denmark win theirs and Europe's very first Thomas Cup.
But with Kenneth's lost... I guess... Congratulations to China now.

hold on there. If it comes down to Xia, he can be quite inconsistent. And he hasn't had to play at all in this tournament has he?

Was Bao also down in the 2nd set as well before he came back??

If so, I think this is one of the greatest comebacks I've ever seen, for two straight sets!!

Then perhaps we should also all apologize to Kenneth for saying the odds were something like 80-20 in favor of Bao.

That is correct. He has not trained a long time. He is just like a hobby player but still good enough the usual European players like Bjoern Joppien and Co.

I am happy for Bao. But if he wants a shot at the olympics, he still has some way to go all agree?

My heart out to Kenneth, the nearly man.

Xia should be able to wrap it up if China loses the second doubles

I'm not pro China or Denmark, but I'm just looking at it objectively ...

What a waste .... hopefully Kenneth superb performance can spur Denmark to win the second doubles .. but I think China has already won the cup ... there is no way China can lose the third singles...
