Yes, KKK have lots of WC bronze medals already,....and now he managed to changed the colour of his medal this time, great efforts.....
This was part of Park Joo Bong's prediction just before WC started, that the usual top pairs will win, he said didnt see any of the new faces winning it. He mentioned Kido/Hendra, Fu/Cai, LYD/JJS, Boe/Mogenson, Lars/Jonas as contenders, KKK/TBH not in the list. We shall see tomm, hopefully your fav heros pull thru tonite.
see post #103 lol lol dont laugh at me http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...4-Lin-Dan-Should-Be-The-Best-Bet-For-MS/page7
MK/HS should have won that TC match, that was almost practically 2 againts 1 with MK made so many errors and was having an injury. This time HS will as ussual dominate CY, IMO it will be more like.....Beijing OG, ring a bell??
I'll be here....its been awhile since I got to enjoy good baddy matches MK/HS usually have good matches against Cai/Fu.....hopefully this one is no different.
This is the typical Chinese fans pre-tournament thrash talk session(Li Yong Bo's speech about Lin Dan will win this WC, rings any bell?). Don't get provoke or influence by them, just ignore it . You will know the results right after the match. Most important thing is to cheer for MK/HS.
Let's recall that in the Thomas Cup Final match, Kido/Hendra were very explosive in the opening stage of the first set and quickly led 11-6 at the interval of the first set. Then, the CHN pair changed their strategy and unleashed their tricky flick serves which troubled the INA pair and that costed them valuable points (I counted at leas 6). They lost the initiative to the CHN pair and trailed as much as 3 pts but even then, they managed to regain their composure and very nearly closed out the first set too with one game pt. But, at the end, it was not to be as the CHN pair won 3 pts in a row to win that important first set. In the second set, the INA pair was more careful and they pretty much sealed the set without any problem. The first part of the first set and the entire second set were the trademark and typical game approach the INA pair adopted when facing Fu/Cai as we had seen so many times in the past (most importantly being the second and third sets of the Olympic Games Final). The INA pair were also able to match the CHN pair in the opening stage of the third-set, only to be let down by Kido's (and also Hendra's) many unforced errors subsequently and they lost the third-set quite easily. We also see how the INA pair's stamina (in particular Kido) drastically declined if the match went to three sets, after the Thomas Cup (the defeat to Fang/Lee in the INA SS, defeat to Ko/Yoo in the Macau Open SF). I believe that the INA pair still has what it takes to beat the CHN pair. Sigit Pamungkas will also instruct them to be careful and be aware of the flick serves made by the CHN pair. If they can play their normal game which we often saw in their past matches against Fu/Cai (CHN Open 2006 Final, HKG SS 2007 SF, Olympics 2008 F), they will advance to the Final. The key is to take the intiative right from the start and not to let go or lose concentration!
