    Hi,

Was at 10/10 today, the uncle strongly recommended the APAC amortec700 to me, say till how good how good.
Said can take string tension up to 32lbs.
Somemore give me 2 months warranty on its quality.
Just the racket plus string and grip at $99.

    Almost bought. But held back.
    What are your opinions?
Another thread people mentioned this racket priced at as low as $60?!?

    Thread Revived!

Hmm...the uncle is always like that, LoLz, dun worry. Although he does brag a little over too much about apac rackets, he's still pretty solid with his recommendation.

The $60 price is only for the racket alone, no string or bag. Dun get it wrong.
Actually i believe the apac armourtec is not bad a racket. But MAKE SURE u really like the feel of it before u buy. It is not exactly the same as the yonex one.

I suggest if u are richer , go for pro-ace, the big brother of apacs. The rackets are better, according to many.

Today went down to 10/10 and bought the Apacs ArmourPower 700.

They gave me .66 string, grip, Pro-Ace bag and a bottle of spray.

Total me and my colleagues bought 4 rackets from there today.

Then just now in the evening went to try my new racket.

Not bad lah, suits me fine. Now I have a auitable racket to play with.

I was hitting the frame often of my Ashaway Ti-6000 previously.

    :D

    Hi

Yeah, really happy with the ArmorPower700. Not the best racket around defintely, but at that price, very value for money.

I got special price from them for all the items I bought and for the other 3 rackets plus all their accessories.

Actually I know the boss somewhat. I was told not to tell anyone the price I was given and i respect that. All I can say is my own racket and stuffs did not cost me $99.:D

Now I am planning on enjoying my game more with this new racket.

HAH! The uncle say that to me when i bought the PC1080 too!
He is a cunning salesman with a superb tongue!

The key is that you like the racket! Isn't that all it matters?

apacs armorpower 700 for only S$60

    I bought armorpower from 10 n 10 at S$99 with string and grip only!!!

But i regret!!!:( b.cos i actually can get it around S$60 near my town. (Malaysia)

The boss here said 1xArmorpower 700 around S$60
2xArmorpower 700 around S$110(maybe plus a bag which can put in 2 rackets)

I think PC series also quite cheap here!!!!!!!! If not mrong its around S$60 too...

If anyone here need these racket (also proace brand), just give me the racket model, and I'll find out the price for you:D :D

How much is apac AT700 selling in S'pore? If you prefer a lighter racket, you may try Proace Lighting 838. Value for money!! Only cost RM90 without string.

cant really state the price.. depends on where u buying? u can get it at around S$60 for jus the racket only. hmm.. but i dunno about malaysia. i got my PC999 @ RM80. with string and grip.. pretty good buy huh? haha.. Actually, i dun really go for Apacs rackets.. IMO, they are somehow a lower class of Pro ace rackets.
they are made from the same factory isn't it? well.. Pro Ace racket nowadays also have alot of crappy models.. Currently i am using Sintec Ti-88(my favourite now) and Pro Ace Titanium dream (backup). but again.. i would say, if u wan a budget racket, Apacs is definitely the choice. ;)

ojk87: sorry tt i never saw ur question. my PC1080 broke with 27lb bg66. when it hits my partner's Yonex AT500.(phew! luckily it was mine which broke.)

Legalstrike: Yes. from wad i heard. platinum dream is much more popular and preferred comparing to titanium dream. but for me, i prefer using wide frame racket. ;)

Jeffreyk: My friend recently bought a Pro-ace racket named 'ABS-power' or smth like that. which have 4 humps in each of the 4 location u mentioned. its call the Air Break System? don't really noe the price and feel. but will try it out someday.:)

Yes I bought the APACS amourpower700 at RM120 (~S$55) thru a malaysian friend with bag and strung with BG66. But I don't know where the shop is. He told me abt 1 hr from the causeway. Anyone know where the shop in JB?

APACS model only AM / AP / power concept

I have a amourpower700 (clone yy amortec 700) it a little light the website www.bbe.com say it is 3u but i think the weight is 4u. Probably good for double play cos it light. For the kind of price (RM120 + a big bag + string ) i think all the ap/ am / pc series are the same only colour difference to tell eveyone that this is a clone of this and that. I have not try the ori yy amortec700 but the AM700 look ok for me as i am begining to like it.

i currently own a Apacs Powertech 1000. i like the feel of it over the PC or the armortec clones.
It feels lighter and just slightly head heavy, easy to swing also. Feels quite good at 26lbs. Gonna play with it more :D

    Erm

After reading the thread I think the naming is so confusing, powertech lar, armortech la.... blah blah blah..

    Yonex - ArmorTec

    APAC - ArmorPower

Please don't confuse me anymore :p

Went to 10n10 yesterday, the uncle, dont know if we all refering to the same uncle, his name is David, anyway, keep recommending ArmorPower 880 Offensive after I say I play double offensive style. The whole time I was there thats the only racquet he recommended!!! ArmorTec 800 OF is going for SGD$299. but the ArmorPower 880 OF is going for SGD$99!!! What a difference!!

Anyone use ArmorPower 880 OF before??? Please please comment.. I am seriously considering getting it. It will be my first ISO-head racquet.

    Thanks in advance.
