oh, we are using the same products as you guys are using there (yonex, carlton, aeroplane, gosen etc. goose, duck or chicken... chicken feather??). shuttles are all imported here, never heard of a shuttlecock made in the philippines. they only sell it in a cheaper price, not for me at least.
hwo cheap is cheap? here in malaysia, it is sold for about USD$7-8 for good quality ones (goose feather) a dozen. the best a bit more expensive at roughly USD$14. and yes, ours are also imported. from china it seems mostly (even yonex ones). how much does shuttlecocks cost in the states? oh btw, yeah i agree. feather shuttles gives better feeling than synthetic ones. last time, when i was a kid used to play with carlton nylon shuttles. but the moment i tried feather, no turning back.
oh, so its the same then. btw how many shuttle/s replacement per game/set? average? haven't tried the yonex shuttlecock, to expensive for me . im using a rsl official shuttles, reasonable price and good enough stablilty and durability.
