SS and KT have revived their careers with good wins over their Chinese opponents.
    SS beat DPY 19-21, 21-6, 21-5 and KT beat BCL 22-20, 24-22.
KT's match against BCL is a repeat of their 2010 AE clash except that this time round KT won in two games.
It could be that KT is peaking for the AE tournament and maybe have another crack at the title.
Mas has only LCW left for the men's tournament with the loss of MHH and WCH.
WMC did well to beat LL 13-21, 22-20, 21-12 but it would be difficult against WX in the 2nd round.
Mas top-ranked doubles pair of KKK/TBH are still in struggling-mode and they are now losing even to unseeded opponents. Rexy has to do something about their tactics otherwise KKK/TBH will have no chance of winning future tournaments..

it was a real exciting tiring 1st round matches. for the first time we saw some very excviting first round clashes and the hall was filled with fans supporting the Malaysian players.

Many may feel that the Malaysian Players didn't do well... what i saw was there a slight improvement ever since the new structure came in. There are more commitment from the players and coaches as well.

Saw the determination and an improvement in the physical attribute in the ladies singles under Coach Wong.
As for the Mens ... i think they are trying to search for the solutions
MD- missed out action by our JR pairs especially GWS/TKS and LKW/TWK
    LD- still much to improve
XD- we are on the way despite losses

    This is not surprising..........

more to come, if they and their coaches still think there is no problems in their training and attitude.....etc
