I do not know what LD and LYB is going to achieve by letting down the supporters. If he is unfit , its better not to come to the tournament....or i guess he knows well that he can't beat LCW in his homesoil....but LCW never done like Lin DAN when he played in China...he always faces the challenge....not like LD..

Walk overs again. What ever it is, it has happened to often. At the end it is the fans that suffer. Most people pay good money getting a ticket to watch the star players play. Imagine walkovers happening so often in other sports, Tennis without Federer or Nadal, NBA without Lebron or Kobe, Football games without Messi/Kaka...

It is not good in promoting the sport as well. As a badminton fan in general, I am disappointed.

you are bang on in LD W/O. That must be a huge disappointment for spectators to deny a LD-LCW match.

hopefully that will be on next week's KO, the first premier SS. as the MO is now offically a 2nd division t'ment, my guess the reason for the whole CHN here is doing a bit of warming up and trying out yet more double combination. the serious matches will start in a few months time for the 12 months qualifing for the olympics.
