How about the handle length and the outer material. 1111's handles look shorter(?) Also the pocket on the back is much smaller or at least the opening is ...
The handles on both bags are of about the same length. I find that I can still tote-bag-carry the 1111W the same way I did my 951W without any adaptability issues. Although for some reason I find that the 951W has a better balance and doesn't swing in a specific position downwards even when having the same items in both bags. The outer material of the 951W feels more fabric like while the 1111W's feel more synthetic leathery, which is more like the other Yonex JP bags (specifics can be checked from the material details in the catalogues, both bags have different materials). Personally I feel that the 1111W has a tougher outer material. Lastly, the 951W has one small front pocket and a larger back pocket. The 1111W on the other hand has one small back pocket (same size as the 951W's front pocket) and two large front pockets (same size as the 951W's front pocket). Overall the 1111W has the larger side pocket size.
Thanks for the detailed info. There are some good pics on the camel website I had already seen and I did like the material better from what I could see. Hadn't even noticed it was actually yellow on the inside ... I will agree the 951 looks a bit more professional (as mentioned by others) mostly due to the outer material being not so shiny but rather have something more dirt & weather proof .

Personally, (as some of the forum regulars might know me) i owned the 951W and i love it, more than the new 1111W. Personal preference-lah
My New Yonex 1111W I just received my package from Shuttle-House. I'm so excited to use it. But I was kinda disappointed that there's a SP version of 951W coming. I could have saved more money if I got it from SEA. Oh, I'm not a Yonex expert and I hope the JP version is better.
Very fast response from Shuttle-house, make payment on 15 Feb night and I receive the bag yesterday 18Feb. At first I am worried it might not have enough space for my staffs but I can transfer everything over. Shuttle-house offer 21% discount for the bag and the freight charge is 2400 Yen.
After finally getting my hands on the 951W, I can definitely say I prefer its more professional look. It is also deceptively roomy, holding almost as much as a typical THREE compartment bag. Since the 1111W is slightly bigger, it is probably comparable to the smaller three-compartment bags as well
