    Chong Wei played a wonderful match able to make Lin Dan guessing hence unable to set his feet for trademark power smashes. So happy to see Chong Wei stay calm on the whole duration and control the match. What is the next higher honor after Datuk?(Tun?) Chong Wei should get that.

    Finally a big win for LCW :) (over LD)!! That's going to be a huge weight off his shoulders. Should take the pressure off and make their future encounters all the more interesting. Great fast paced match from both players, a very worthy win.

    And the announcer was hilarious - LEEEEE CHOOOOOOOOONG WWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIII!!!!!

    Bit over the top...?

    Still can't help thinking LD had something in reserve but since he couldn't pull it out of the bag, all credit to LCW. Great win in a major tournament. Hope it gives him the confidence for the world championships and beyond.

    Badminton is the winner today.
