Hi dingboy How much did you pay for the bag (1102N)? I have already been to the Shuttlehouse website and used xe currency converter to convert to stirling but the price seemed very excessive. thanks
Welcome to Japan? , they are excessive and it's not a mistake. Not to mention the shipping weight will cost you another ton in shipping cost not to mention added VAT. Whatever you had it should be more than mentioned in post #19 ... and we can see the shipping was 3500 to Singapore which is half the distance to UK? All that aside: it is a bl00dy nice bag
Hi there bro ..... I paid (inclusive of shipping to Singapore) SGD$233 Shipping alone costs ¥3500 = approx SGD$54 It is a bit steep .... but man ! .... i just love the bag !
in the picture, the postal description says the weight is 7.4 Kg ??? is that how heavy the bag alone is?? roughly, how many rackets can fit in?
Can't explain that bro .... if you notice on the top right, it says there: Gross Weight 2.3kg I haven't a clue why they would put '7.4kg' on the bottom ..... maybe it's including all the packing material and tape? ... or to 'qualify' for EMS shipping? .... no idea. But the bag definitely isn't 7.4kg. The 1102N is a 9 racket bag, so 9 rackets in will not be a problem. But if you pack the rackets in neatly (minus the full racket cover) and utilize all 3 compartments, you could probably squeeze in 18 rackets ..... or more ! I've tried putting in 6 rackets (minus the full racket cover) in just the Thermal compartment alone, still got space.
too bad i'm not such a big fans of supersized bag. I'm more into a smaller bag (max of 2 compartments) that can contain 7-15 rackets, plus 1 pair of shoes, small pocket to hold various small stuff, 1.5L bottle of water, 2 tubes of shuttlecock, better have thermal layer... AND... probably MUST fit in the minimum requirement of hand-carry for cabin airlines (i travel quite often and my badminton gear always by my side). Any idea what kind of bag this is? (I haven't found this perfect bag for myself yet & still searching. However, i could fit in max of 8 rackets plus 1 pair of shoes in a one-compartment Victor free bag that comes along when i purchase Victor Legend)
I bought this bag from shuttlehouse one month ago. It cost me 140€ including shipping to France. I also had to add extra 30€ for french customs. I don't know if you also have this taxes in UK. So as you can see, it is very expensive but : ...... ....Yep ! ... it's a DAMN cool bag !!!
I think they couldn't read it at Singpost . It says 2.3kg on the other label ... Every 2 compartment can hold 7-15 rackets but 15 with shoes and bottle and 2 tubes perhaps look at bag 951 or 1111 ... I don't think any racket bag can even officially pass as hand-carry because they are too long? Correction, first time I noticed it's about the total dimension not exceeding 118cm (always thought the longest side allowed was 55cm). Fully stretched out 951 would exceed the limit but judging by the eye it shouldn't give any trouble ... €170 total? It better be good Noticed the new FZ Forza bag's the other day, model Miami looks pretty good as well (but still no 1102N) http://www.fzforza.it/product_listing.php?cPath=273_287_289&language=de
I had the good fortune of owning both bags before. Material-wise, both are comparable ..... good quality materials. Build-quality wise, the 1102N has the slight win over the BR309. The 1102N hold it's shape better than the BR309, and it feels more 'sturdy'. Design-wise, the 1102N (to me) is more attractive and outstanding. The 1102N is also able to pack more stuff in .... which is a big plus for me.
Alternatively, you could consider the BAG 1112R? http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/95917-Yonex-Bag-1112R there's also an SP 'version' lookalike of the BAG 1102N available ..... the Yonex SUNR-10029PG BT9 http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...onex-Sunrise?p=1619506&viewfull=1#post1619506 Happy shopping ....
really? ...... i didn't know that. I saw it the last time i went to Far East Plaza, but i didn't really 'inspect' it much.
did you have to pay first before it is sent? how many days after you transferred the money did you actually get the item?
Hi bro .... sorry for the late reply. Yes bro, for Shuttle-House, you'll have to pay first before they send out your item. Shuttle-House despatches their items via EMS, so it's pretty fast. I got my 1102N within one week. For my 1201W, it was even faster .... i got it within 5 days.
