As I reply, Peter Gade has 0 vote and Chen Long has 2.

So, did you vote for Chen Long?

Sure looks that way CL is the main obstacle in LCW half. I wouldn't be surprised to see LCW facing 3 CHN MS in a row to win the title. But I think LD is still the one to beat. Unlike SS, LD should be prepared for this major, could be his last one too.

    Me too.

In bold. It was the same last year.

    You ruined Mr. Lee's party.

The worry I would have if I was a LCW fan would be if he has peaked too soon (before WC) ok, he dismantled PG at IO11, but I read that LCW was suffering slightly from injury. LD form is unreadable, he lost to Sasaki, but got to the final the week before. PG and TH I would write off straight away. People think that a final between CL & LD will be fixed, but I don't think it would, if any of the Chinese need the points, it would be CJ, as he has been sloppy this year. NTM doesn't have much chance, as he isn't physically strong enough. Du PY can't win, nor can Boonsak. Park has a higher chance than these 3. But, I reckon that Sho is in a good run at the moment. Zwiebler as well is going well, and has shown that he can play well against the best.

    Lin Dan rules!

Taufik Hidayat can (infrequently) still pulverise ankles with his deft play.

Time for LD to win big again and scare the daylights out of whoever thinks the OG2012 is up for grabs. So, the vote goes to Lean Tank!

I'm going for LCW, he's in the form of his life, and only a fully fit and motivated Lin Dan can stop him and it remains to be seen whether Lin Dan can get himself motivated for the Worlds anymore. Chen Long is the only other obstacle I can see for LCW.

    going with the bandwagon.

    logic says LCW will win.

the only reservation is that logic said so for the past few years too and somehow reality managed to contradict.

    but LCW it is.

Base on the Head to Head records between LCW & Lin Dan, LCW never beats Lin Dan in straight meeting, is means that, last meeting was in All England which won by LCW, if they meet againt in this WC final, base on this trend, should be won by Lin Dan.

2011 World Championships: Lee Chong Wei can only face Lin Dan at the FINALS

    .
The Head-to-Head Record of Lee Choong Wei-vs-Lin Dan is 8-15.

At this 2011 World Championships, Lee Choong Wei can only face Lin Dan at the FINALS.

Will they get to face each other again? This is the more interesting question. :):):)

I think we should see LCW in the finals, the men is in the shape of his life I think.
If Lin Dan also get the finals is more a question to me, last year he lost surprising enough to Park SH. Unless he is really motivated to win it, he can get to the finals, else I don't see him that far.

Don't be too giddy about LCW's chances..

..and be careful of the BC Poll jinx rearing its ugly head..:confused::crying::)

I skimmed over the MS draw and eventhough LCW "seems" to be on rhythm and on a roll (with his recent wins), his draw and road to a possible Final Rd. could have quite a few surprises and won't be easy..

Again, upsets are gonna happen in all the events fo sho..

*Btw, i like how the polls now show who the voters are publicly..

LCW for me... he deserves it base on recent years of performance. BUT injury is another thing...

LCW seems to be the favourite, beware LD has something up his sleeve.
Chen Long seems to be the darkhorse + spoiler here. Never write off Chen Jin either.

Besides these 4, I don't think others stand a good chance.
