He only lose to Indonesians in the early rounds in this tournament.

He lost to Taufik twice(2005,2010) and Sony Kuncoro twice (2007,2009).

This year he lose to Hayom Rumbaka in 2nd round for sure.

I can't wait for my 50 satay from limsy. Im already planning my trip to Kajang now. LOL

..not quite true. LD won the overall poll for WC MS champ in 2009 & 2010. No polls for 2006 & 2007.

So, this yr, with LCW leading and possibly winning the overall MS poll, instead of LD, who knows....this could be his yr..:eek:

What do i have to worry about? LCW is in top from and pBm will run behind me? Beside he will make fun of my skinny *** LOLI'm sorry ladies I know by now you already have dreams about it. But unless you can convince LCW to throw the match, your wish won't come true. (alternatively PM me your pics and see what I can do) wkwkwkwkwk

    Lcw !!!

LCW is impressive and looking good on paper and in form as well and I do hope he wins this for the sacrifices he has
made in training. However, this year's draw has been very unkind to him.

Realistically speaking what are the odds of him progressing through the quarterfinals to the final and winning the title. He has to beat the top three China players in 3 consecutive games, first Chen Long , second Chen Jin and finally Lin Dan. So far, no player has done that in badminton.

For example, its like asking you to beat Zhao Jianhua, Xiong Guobao and Yang Yang in 3 consecutive games or
beating Fang Kaixiang, Hou Jia Chang and Tang Xianhu in 3 consecutive games. This is quite a daunting prospect for
LCW. So if he does manage to win it, I really have to salute him. Winning the world title is long overdue for LCW, but
not with this kind of draw. I just hope he gives his best and take it one game at a time.

So my odds for him to win are 50-50 depending on the form of the 3 chinese players. Really unlucky draw for him
while Lin Dan has a smooth ride into the finals. I'm also not discounting the fact that if the final is China vs China,
Lin Dan might give the game up for Chen Jin or Chen Long to gain more Olympic qualifying points so that China can
have 3 singles spots in the Olympics.

The tactics of the chinese squad is quite simple, if neither of our players can beat LCW 1 to 1, then we will have 3 players pushing him to his limits. One down,no problem, analyze his strategies and tactics and the next 2 players will outlast him.

This is my prediction and also assessment. Sigh to LCW and good luck to him as he will need loads of it.

since u had mentioned,i try to find out
the frequency of lcw meet 2 china player in a tournament is 13 times
he successfully beat and win in 11 times(include 2 times victory over lindan)
he failed 2 times, both win by lin dan in china open final 08 and all england final 09

the frequency of lcw meet 3 china player in a tournament is 5 times
he failed 4 times, all won by lin dan(the one who gained benefit, twice in 2006,one in 2009 and the latest in korea pss 2011)
but after 2 month, lcw able to overcome it in a major tournament, all england 2011
beat bao cl,cl and ld in a row to win it(3 of 4 china top ms)
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

lcw proof that now he can overcome 3 china player in a row, with skill and stamina
and i believe this is the reason why lindan somehow unable to meet lcw after ae:p
the coaching staff would try to fix and find the solution
however,i would bravely predict that lcw will not meet more than 2 china player in wc 2011:)
hopefully this post can help u to find out the answer:D

errr.... oonyz, you are forgetting that LCW might not even meet 1 chinese player because he lose to Hayom in the 2nd round.

Besides, Taufik could reach the semis by beating Chen Jin. Chen Jin form is not good this year.

    Lcw reply !

Thanks for the info above. I am naturally a very conservative person thus I hope he will pull through. His path is filled with mine bombs,

    1st round - Tanongsak
    2nd round - Dionysius
3rd round - Park Sung Hwan
    Quarter - Chen Long
    Semi - Chen Jin
    Final - Lin Dan

Really hard route for him,he really needs to be careful and focus really hard. Getting enough rest and staying injury free is crucial especially
with him carrying a back injury before this, hopefully it won't flare up.
