Hello, I'm an advanced player (been playing for 25 yrs), I have almost found my perfect racket in the At900t 4U with Zymax .62 @ 28lbs, but I am finding while this racket has great hold at the net, swings well, has excellent solid feel, that the power just isn't really there (I am fast and strong with good technique [without wanting to sound arrogant] . I have dabbled with almost every racket, but without really playing with them all—with feathers, you can never really know. The one racket that I haven't played with and am interested in is the AT900P 4u. It makes sense that this should be the obvious racket to look at. Do any other advanced players have any feedback regarding this issue, or could anybody recommend a good replacement— keeping in mind top end rackets are £150 and I will need 2 Thanks
I literally just picked up the V70 — it feels very head light, and I can't believe it would have the same hold. The VT80 on the other hand is very head heavy. Reaction time given head swing speed would be slow surely?
No—you've got it the wrong way round surely. The VT80 in the UK head heavy, the VT70 is definitely lighter.
This is my opinion.I have played AT900T 4u and AT900PLC 3u.And now I play with VT80 4u now. So if you want fast swing with huge power then you should move to VT80. Now my AT900PLC 3u is for my single or mix double game, yes you have the power but loss your speed. But in men double game VT80 is my right answer now. So go for VT80 4u for your game atleast you should try it. Good luck.
4U VT80 sounds like the right option for me. I think the At 3G would be a bit on the slow side - especially with regard mid court to net play doubles. mybadminton store the best placefor a VT80 4u outside of the UK?
