Zhang Jun warms up just before a match using a tennis racquet. Incredible strength.

can't see tennis falling off the TV schedules in the UK while it stays big in the US. I could put up with the wall-to-wall Wimbledon coverage if they did the same for the All England. They could show every match on every court every day at the All England in the time they give to Wimbledon. (and practice courts if they have 'em)

Squash racket,...tennis racket,..... I suppose the next step will be warming up with a cricket bat? :)

Some relief for China whatever they say, going into this olympics they would have thought

2 golds are already won and the silvers (ws wd)
other 3 golds they have 50% chance of winning and should pick up at least 1.

Nope, just swings the racquet around in the air. Shadow shots - no shuttles. SAw him do this in one Japan Open.

Yes, Jens complained a few times that Gao Ling was blocking his view when Zhang Jun was serving...

Ouch! That was one long phonecall... And I get back only to find that Jens and Mette never delivered!

Well, at least that was expected. Very convincing win by the Chinese. I doubt if the Brits can give them much resistance... But everything I've said has turned out wrong so far in this tournament!

The bronze match will be interesting though. The two Danish pairs have met so many times before in training, but never in a big tournament. Well, actually they met in the final of the Danish National Championships, an even match which Jens/Mette won 4-11, 11-9, 13-12.

I think it will be fiercely even! And, sorry Jonas, but since this is Jens last Olympics (and probably also his last tournament ever) I think he deserves a medal... The man deserves a medal anyway for still playing top 10 doubles and mixed at the age of 35! Go Jens! Go Mette! :D
