Sigh...Alvent/AG still could not beat the Danes (again). They should have won it in straight-sets, having wasted a set-pt in the first set.

Meanwhile, Towi/Butet are on course to take the first-set.

Towi/Butet are back in the lead, after trailing in the initial stage of the second-set. They should take this one in straight-set.

Meanwhile, the match between POL and CHN is nail-biting to the finish in the rubber-set.

Tantowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir make it to the QF after beating Lee Sheng-Mu/Chien Yu-Chin in straight sets: 21-9, 21-12. A formidable task awaits them tomorrow in Joachim Fischer-Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen.

If they do beat the Danes tomorrow, I think they will face Tao Jiaming/Tian Qing, who themselves survive a tricky tie today, beating the Polish pair in 3-sets.
