Can't beat them due to "booking speed"? Then just join the group that suit you most.
Hassel free & able to play with difference players, time & places too.

    west...

its ok...anyway its...a very fair online system..... the fastest gets it...

i just dun understand why weekends (which 1 can easily make a booking) have more courts than usual.... as in schools...opens...

shouldnt the logic..be more courts open for weekdays nite when it is shortage.?

same as if alot of people taking bus or mrt at the same time, bus n mrt add more bus or trains rather than add at hours which no1 wants to take rite?

Just like one friend already said, one school hall needs one court keeper. It is not cheap, plus other expense on eletrical and water... The school might lose money if only opens for 3 hours, 7-10pm.

Another conern is that the school might need it for some function like school team training, school actities. So far only a few schools started to offer Friday evening slot as a trial run. Hope good news from it. :)

i agreed with u partially only. how much electricity is need for 1 hall for 3 hrs? how much is needed for water? since all these r for the well being of our sg citizen, ssc wants to promote healthy lifestyle, n why there is a limit where people cannot exercise because there is no enuff courts. i believe people well being comes b4 making money. hence, cost shouldnt b a problem to the school. afterall, if u ask ssc, does they make money from rental of facilities, i am quite sure its a no.
for the schools, it need not be all schools but those selectively in each zone of singapore. as to cover the court keeper costs, the school open for booking should be for those with higher no of courts than others. of course school can use their hall for school team training or school activities. they can just easily block the booking, its the same as u see in PA system when u see some halls r blocked for booking for some long period, if the CC can do it, i do see why the schools cant do it.
anyway let them do trial until they think its gd to implement to more weekdays.
jus hope more can be done. i dunwan to play at open air badminton court n chase over the wind for the shuttles.
    sigh.

I do not live in Singapore, but I believe it should be the same
anything above 6 or 7 could be considered as busy time
you should remember many workers finished at 5 and when they can play badminton? at night of course
about weekends, most likely those workers go with their family, so weekends should be easier to book especially Sunday night (where no one wants to play because tomorrow they need to go to school or work)

    Hey man...!
It is quite interesting.. I am regular player at Toa Payoh and we know how hard it is to get the time and place we want. Sometimes we go Tampines as we cannot get the slot at Toa Payoh. Please enlighten us how you do it with your script? Is it program or browser add-on?
You are very awesome man... to come out with such a brilliant idea..
Please share with me at m2zhwae@gmail.com.. Thank you very much dude.

Nah i am not that great to deserve this high hat. Well, i got same problem as you so i decided to make my life easier thats all :). As for your qns, it depend on how you want how your script/program to work as there are numerous way to come up with it. Some hard code it, some likes to meddle with dos/schedulers/scripts while some prefer web based, some prefer jus action trigger GUI so no exact answer to it.

Also, guys tks for your attention. Really overwhelming with lot of PMs now, still like i say only the lucky few will get & do let me know your EXACT screen resolution(i.e 1600x900) for those who have pmed me. Enjoy the lovely wkend Cheers!

Pmed you. Hope that i will be the chosen 1. Because I have the same problem too haiz.. :crying: I believe all the organisers are vying for those good timing slots and i don't blame them but we normal players that play occasionally are then voided to play with our family, kins & friends due to that. I tried to book quite a couple of time during early morning but still failed, probably i have slow fingers. :crying:
