    Another China domination...

    Men's Singles

True battle between the odds and mights... more like the battle of the badminton god... (One shall stand, One shall fall...)

    Women's Singles
better as Communist nation vs Kuomintang nation

    Men's Doubles
I think is them who gonna walk away as champions...... again!!

    Mixed Doubles
Home advantage? or another crowd silencer...?

I salute CSC for reaching the final.
She is really one gutsy player and I wouldn't discount her winning the 2011 BWC WS title.
    Go for it CSC.

My prediction for the WS: Cheng Shao Chieh.
    Why? Simple physics.

WYH will have to make a drastic readjustment of her optics to face downwards if she has to watch the racquet of CSC. This will affect her entire stance, and maybe even give her vertigo. Even if she succeeds in readjusting her optics, there is still no guarantee she will see where her opponent is or what she is doing, and thus will be at a huge disadvantage.

The shots coming at her also, will be at a very different trajectory than what say, Tine Baun would send. So all of this will make her totally dis-oriented (pun intended, please note.)

    Predictions (with levels of confidence)
    MS: LCW 60%
    WS: WYH 60%
    MD: CY/FHF 75%
    WD: WXL/YY 80%
    XD: ZN/ZYL 75%

Not different from almost all other predictions.

It's a bit of a scheduling dilemma but I think it's a mistake to put the WD first. I know they want to showcase XD last, but it will mean that the WD is now meaningless. If I were the CHN team manager, I may even consider a walkover. Seriously.

I would have put XD first. The first match of the final has certain significance as well. The WD I would place fourth. The last would be MS. I'm pretty sure all the British fans would stay for the last match.

I like WYH but not CHN team and for sentimental reasons, I hope for a CSC victory.

My wish list, not prediction :

    WD = Not interested.
    Other disciplines :
All non CHN. and the titles will be evenly spread.

MS: Lin Dan will have to be on the best form we've seen of him since 2009 to win this. Lee Chong Wei in straight sets.
WS: Wang Yihan looked better than CSC yesterday. I predict that she will win, probably straight sets.
MD: Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng looked better than the Koreans. They'll win in 2 games.
WD: Top seeds to win in 2 games.
XD: Top seeds to win in 3 games.

    i like what kwun said

lcw is going to give ld a taste of his own medicine... 2008 olympics style :(

let's face it, LD STRUGGLED to put away old man Gade yesterday, when LCW would have straight setted Gade in no more than 40 mins max.

There is a MASSIVE gulf between LD and LCW right now.

LD will be lucky to take a set.

My prediction would be LCW to take along the lines of 21-14, 21-11!!!

MY point is, it will be very one-sided and nothing like the CLASH OF THE TITANS everyone is building it up to be. LD will not find a way to penetrate LCW's defence (making LD lose patience/ going for too much and therefore making forced errors) whereas LCW will be moving LD all over the place (LCW's cross court smashes are going to destroy LD)

    LD is over the hill...

Whether LD's coach is Tang SH or not is not important as it will not help LD this time ! LD will get slaughtered by LCW tonite ! :D:D:D

Hi, all...I'm counting on Dato' Lee Chong Wei, Ms Cheng Shao Chieh, Mr. Ko Sung-hyun, Mr. Yoo Yeong-seon, Mr. Chris Adcock, and Ms Imogen Bankier to prevent China clean sweep in this tournament :p

seriously i dont think ko/yoo will eat cai/fu today but if they doing well and win the match i must be too look down on them. however it will be smashing party between fu and ko. fu just need to concentrate and reduce error meanwhile the korean need not to focus on their celebration after getting a point. its annoying sometimes.

Chris Adcock/Imogen Bankier should be the favourite now

    .
    Agree. :):):)

I think, with great performance of the Imogen Bankier (based on yesterday's Semi-Finals) and the home crowd support, Chris Adcock/Imogen Bankier should be the favourite now.

All this talk about LCW whacking LD silly could just backfire ..... wakakakakaka:p

BC Malaysian fans should just temper their enthusiasm a little bit. Why not be just a little bit neutral on the predictions?

I remember 2005 - LD had an imperious path to the final, Taufik had to dig deep and almost lost to Kenneth Jonassen. But in the end? Taufik whacked LD silly in under 8 pts in each game (old scoring system).

That's a history lesson to Malaysian fans.

LD had a very tough battle with Gade in the 2005 semi's ;) (again). Still one of the best matches I remember ... possibly because it was actually live on tv :D
