Just received these new series of Flypower racquets from Indonesia today. I was told that two Indonesian players will be using them; Sigit and Hendra Setiawan. Don't know who is using which one. Apparently, Hendra is abandoning Vigor 700 and switching to these now.

    Racquet specs:

    Kaldera 777 (blue)
    4F Zenit Asymmetric System
    String Tension: 26-30 lbs
    Elastic Firm
    Balance Point: approx 300mm
    Dry Weight: 85-86g
    S2

    Kaldera 778 (red)
    4F Zenit Asymmetric System
    String Tension: 26-30 lbs
    Balance Point: approx 295mm
    Dry Weigt: 85-86g
    Elastic Firm

    Kaldera 779 (black)
    3F Zenit Asymmetric System
    String Tension: 26-30 lbs
    Dry Weight: 88-89g
    Balance Point: approx 297mm
    Firm Elastic

Note: Dry weight and balance point figures are measured by me. They are not from Flypower specs.

I don't think they are available in the market yet. Those who are interested could probably pre-booked it or order it from: http://www.kedaiangkasa.com/home/

All enquiries can be made from this site.

I don't find the paintwork myself too appealing myself but the specs are closer to what I prefer as compared to Enigma 900 and Vigor 700. They are definitely head heavier and feels solid. The paintwork matches the attire Kido and Hendra wear in tournaments now.

Got them strung at last and tried out all three of them. They are definitely head-heavy racquets and more demanding than the Enigma 900 and Vigor 700. All of them were strung with Yonex BG66UM at 31 lbs on Yonex ES5 Protech electronic machine at Sports Life.

Of the three, the 778 (red) is the easiest to play with and the power is also adequate. I did not feel the unease of using a new racquet and I could get right in the swing of things immediately.

The 777 (blue) which was the first racquet I tried was more demanding and I found my movement to reflexes suffered and I missed shots that I would normally have returned using my usual racquets. It is more powerful than the 777 and you have to you use more arm strength to smash the shuttle.

The 779 (black) is the stiffest and most powerful of the lot. The crispness of the smash sound is more evident among the three. Although, it is slightly less head-heavy than the 777, the difference in BP feels much more as my movement with it did not feel so awkward and slow. I use this racquet the most often and enjoyed it the most.

This is only my first session with these racquets and my opinions about them may change over time as I play more with them.
