I think it is funny cause of the writings on the shaft being chinese and the players promoting the racquet being caucasians??

i think it's amusing rather than funny... and this is what the thread starter trying to say mah....
and how often do you get to see words that look like those in Wu Xia novels on badminton racquets?

and nope, i have heard of Kawasaki as a badminton brand before.
maybe it's a Zaibatsu (conglomerate), something like Sumitomo and Mitsubishi.

Nope, Kawasaki makes racquets for a long long long time.

But I just don't think they are funny at all......

That poster is a Wilson poster, not Kawasaki.

I find the poster behind the racket to be rather funny. :]

There's a guy playing badminton in a foot-tunnel; and another guy looking as though he's in a disco doing a 360 spiral dance move? :D

Yes, Anders Boesen is really the king of the disco when he goes out at night.

Kawasaki - old badminton company - started out in 1930's making wooden racquets! They have now moved the headquarters to Swizterland.

Seems a slight trend with some Asian companies - SOTX, Chinese but managed in Germany.

it could jolly well be a Zaibatsu (a conglomerate). a huge corporation, which is common in Japan.... which consists of many kinds of biz, such as service industry, building industry, manufacturing industries....
