    Does anyone have the experiences with this kind of frame? Is it make anything difference? The seller tell me this kind of design will make the frame stronger and sweet spot wider, but I think it will make the frame weaker.... :p
    The first two pictures are from mmoa. The outside of the frame is muscle power structure and the inside of the frame is artery structure with kevlar weave.
    The other two picture are from the web site of victor!

    that's pretty cool.

    the outside muscles is not new.

    the grooved inside isn't new either (Mizuno has been doing it for ages)

    but to put the two together is quite new. the obvious challenge is that the frame is now much thinner in the middle and there is the potential of being weaker. the kevlar weave in the inside does look really cool!

    how much do they cost?

    The cost is from NT 1800 to 1500 depending on seller! The seller tell me the frame will be stronger but I doubt it. In Taiwan, you can't stop buying new rackets because for a period of time, the new rackets with new design will come out.... :rolleyes: Although they may not have big improvement in the performance but they make something difference. The most importance, they are not as expensive as yonex.... :D

    NT 1500 - 1800 is about US$50-60 range. I don't think that's expensive at all, especially with the so-call "new tech"... :D

    i think the grooves were incorporated to lessen vibration, just like the grooves found on the doors/body of cars. lesser vibration = greater stability. that's how i see it.:)

    Black Knight Power Channel rackets have the inside grooves as well.

    Anyone know what is the maximum string tension recommended by the manufacturer?

    let me add to above.
    yonex never known to be 1st on the block with new tech. Except for the 1 piece racket(well, i mean the seamless joint, some say cab 20 is 2 pieces) and internal t-joint, iso frame, mp bumps, 3U and then 4U weights, one string grommet holes, flat cone cap for the thumb, nanotech were all came first from other brands. Since this internal groove was out a while back, surely if it's good, yonex would had perfected later for their production. Yes, yonex did evaluate the technical feasbility of frame grooves (using your word) and the resulting frame cross sectional shape is: ARMORTEC frame, where the grooves are on the outside edge LOL :p
