i bought the Apacs Armor Power 880 OF at 10n10. a much betta raq compared to MP99. the stringin at 10 n 2 o'clock oso diff frm conventional raqs. dis is one tink diff frm AT/AP 700. the onli difference btwn 700 n 800 cud b onli dis n e price is almost $50 apart. it is actualli AP 880 rather den 800 frm wat u see in www.bbeshop.com i suppose tt is onli cosmetic. AP 880 OF is actualli STIFF compared to e real AT 800 OF which had its flex rated at EXTRA STIFF. DAT IS Y I REGRET BUYING IT!!! oso, e 10n10 guy added tt AP 880 OF can b strung at 30lbs. nw, personally i feel tt Yonex has had all its raq tension lowered. y so? i feel tt it is bcoz Yonex wans to prevent their raqs frm snappin when hit or restrung. in short, to maintain its #1 reputation. so actualli 30lbs fer Yonex raqs oso can one. dun b con by him!!!

Not sure who you are referring to, but the owners of 10 and 10 at Bras Basah are the distributors of Apacs rackets in Singapore and JB. I think they distribute Proace too, given the two brands are related. So I am not surprised if Apacs and Proace are promoted heavily.
I think he is referring the Apacs Nanopower 7000, The Apacs Nano Pro 8000 should cost around RM189....with string grip and bag i think
