But it's disturbing to know Lee Chong Wei winning too many times in the early quarter of the year. That might be counter productive to his quest for LOG gold.

As for Lin Dan, I wonder where is he now...

It is a good start for LCW. Beating 2 Great Wall of China in two straight week surely a good start for his 2012 quest.

Meanwhile, Lin Dan watching it on tv. lol

probably a little disturbance. while not really showing, CL did got off to a shaky start. it takes time to adjust to this type of hostility. and even if a few % of distraction is going to make some difference.

not to say that it doesn't affect lcw also. it would and hard to say whether it is positive or not. it depends on the person mindset and i honestly think lcw might have gotten carried away in teh 1st game and when adrenaline wore out in 2nd, he found himself in a little more trouble.

That's exactly my point - "a few % of distraction" that could be either positive or negative. Overall, one can argue that it balances out.

i think it just depends on the person's mindset. human minds are too complicated to be summarized with a single number!

BWF in youtube will upload it. Just waiting for few more hours and we can watch it. Depend on the country though, if you're from India, you can watch it right after they upload it.

Not going to happen unfortunately - they will only upload the matches they live streamed, which are the first 5 matches.

I agree with you, M'sian crowd only works when your opponent fear your 'Smashes'. In CL case, LCW can't use smash much due to huge height difference and more or less doesn't have much effect on CL. So this more or less put much pressure on LCW to use other tactic because he cannot use many smashes over his much taller opponent.

The other tactics don't work well with crowd support in terms of voice levels. The average supporter in the stadium to be honest don't know much about technical badminton and can only cheer when there is smash. LCW smash is lethal over his shorter opponents, so he enjoys a lot of success doing this with MAS crowd support, not with CL.

In CL case, I think neutral ground will put LCW more at ease.
